It held up perfectly even during exercise! It's absolutely perfect as a sports sunscreen or golf sunscreen! It's cool, leaves no white cast, and has a moisturizing feel that made me want to keep reapplying it to my hot, dry face. The pleasant cooling effect of Menthology's unique formula instantly reduces skin temperature by up to 4.1 degrees Celsius on skin exposed to hot sun and UV rays. The trendy Menthology Cooling Sun Block, popular as a golf sunscreen, is an organic UV-blocking sunscreen made with more cabbage extract than purified water, leaving no white cast. I'll definitely be purchasing it again! I highly recommend this cool, refreshing sunscreen for those hot days.
ConsI tried hard to find something to criticize, but unfortunately couldn't find any downsides.

I usually dislike the typical sunscreen scent and rarely apply sunscreen despite having a sun allergy. However, this one is completely odorless - perhaps masked by the menthol fragrance. It's absolutely fantastic! There's no white cast or pilling. It applies smoothly, almost like a serum texture.
ConsI don't have any real complaints, but I do wonder if the strong menthol scent and intense cooling effect might be too harsh for the skin. That's my only concern.

First off, the cooling effect is definitely noticeable. Rather than having a thick sunscreen texture, it has a light consistency that goes on smoothly. There's no white cast, so it should be great for those who don't like their skin looking pale!
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I found the cooling effect gave it an alcohol-like scent, which felt a bit irritating on my skin. However, if you have oily skin or tend to experience facial heat, this might work well for you.

As someone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I found it surprisingly gentle and refreshingly cooling - a truly excellent sunscreen! Unlike other sunscreens, it doesn't leave a white cast and isn't overly rich, making it perfect to apply before makeup. The long-lasting cooling effect makes this sunscreen ideal for the upcoming summer!
ConsIf you apply too much, it can be intensely cooling on the eyes, to the point where I couldn't open them at times. For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend avoiding use on thin skin areas or around the eyes.

The menthol ingredient gives a slight cooling sensation that's definitely noticeable - perfect for summer use with its refreshing and subtle minty scent. There's no white cast, and it's gentle enough for daily use without irritation. I also appreciate that it's free from coral-harming ingredients.
ConsWhile it doesn't sting the eyes, the cooling effect might be a bit intense when applied near the eye area. It's best to avoid applying it too close to your eyes.

The consistency is light with a hydrating formula that applies smoothly and absorbs well without leaving any white cast. It doesn't feel cold when you apply it, but it has a menthol component that gives a refreshing sensation after application. I'm used to this feeling because I use Burt's Bees wax lip balm for both my face and lips, which has a similar cooling effect. The best part is that my face doesn't sweat when I'm doing my makeup. I love the cool, refreshing feeling even when I pat my face with a puff. In summer, I usually get sweaty and my skin looks hazy, but this sunscreen applies thinly and absorbs so well that my makeup doesn't pill. I have severe redness, and when I applied this to my flushed face after a mountain trip, it quickly cooled down my skin temperature.
ConsIt's not really a downside, but try to avoid the eye area. Since it contains menthol, it can cause some eye irritation.
TipIt's good to carry sunscreen with you and reapply it several times. It helps cool down heated skin and reduces sweating.

Highly recommended for those who experience facial heat during summer! Personally, I found it refreshingly cool without any eye irritation.
ConsI was slightly disappointed by the lack of a brightening effect. (I tend to prefer brightening moisturizers with SPF!)

True to its name, it gives a soothing sensation when applied. I never thought I'd feel this on my face - it's quite unique! Especially after application, when you catch a breeze, it feels like the heat instantly dissipates. Perfect for those scorching summer days. Best of all, there's no white cast, and it doesn't cause pilling when you apply makeup over it!
ConsThe cooling sensation can be a bit tricky around the eyes... It's like having a menthol cough drop and drinking water, but feeling it in your eyes. You'll need to be careful and avoid the eye area when applying.

The menthol scent isn't irritating. I was worried about the menthol since I'm sensitive to eye stinging from sunscreens, but I didn't experience any. There's just a slight cooling sensation that makes you go 'Oh, I see!' Even when it got in my eyes a bit, it felt cool but not stinging at all! The texture is close to liquid but doesn't run. It's so thin and free of white cast that I wondered if I'd applied enough. It didn't cause my makeup to pill and I love the matte finish. The cooling sensation lasted quite a while for me, but not to a distracting degree. It's just enough to feel non-irritating. It applies so thinly that I wondered about its UV protection, but if it works well, I'll use it often. I'm quite sensitive, but I didn't experience any blemishes. The scent is only noticeable when applying, which passes my sensitive skin test. While it's a bit unfamiliar and just shy of feeling potentially irritating, I think it's perfect for hot summer days! I plan to stick with this for a while.
ConsThe menthol-like cooling sensation is refreshing, but it might be slightly distracting for some.
TipTry applying a small amount under your eyes and wait for about 5 seconds if you think you feel irritation. It's actually not irritating. I used this as a base and then touched up with a sun stick throughout the day. I'd recommend not using a mist over this sunscreen.

It absorbs quickly, leaving no white cast, which makes it perfect for frequent reapplication. The lightweight texture allows your skin to breathe, giving a sense of comfort throughout the day. As described, it helps reduce skin temperature, which I found particularly beneficial as someone who works outdoors and tends to overheat. There's a slight cooling effect upon application, reminiscent of a cooling patch (may vary by individual), but without any eye irritation. Unlike some sunscreens that feel hot on warm days, this one remained refreshingly cool. The formula also contains ingredients that improve skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles, and brighten the complexion, making it a multitasking product that offers both sun protection and skincare benefits. As someone with super sensitive skin prone to redness and reactions, I was relieved to find that this sunscreen didn't cause any irritation or flare-ups during use. It's truly a worry-free option for those with delicate skin.
ConsI didn't experience any blemishes or drawbacks while using this product. The cooling effect was consistently pleasant throughout my use!
TipFor optimal protection, it's advisable to reapply this sunscreen frequently throughout the day.
