As a sunscreen nomad, I've tried over 20 products so far, and this was an exceptionally moisturizing and hydrating sunscreen. My skin is quite dry, so I usually layer on two moisturizers before applying sunscreen to avoid a heavy, sticky feeling. 👍Texture -The texture is light and watery, as the 'airy water' descriptor suggests. It applies like a moisturizing cream! -After application, it doesn't become as moisturizing as a regular cream, but it's sufficiently hydrating to allow for foundation application, without any stickiness. 👍Amount -Since the texture is thin, a small amount is enough to cover the face, so it should last a long time. 👍No Whitening -There is no whitening effect. It doesn't seem to have any tone-up function. You can see in the photo on the back of my hand that there is no noticeable brightening or whitening effect. I actually liked this, as it prevented my face from looking unnaturally bright.

It was great to apply it lightly and refreshingly! It applies like a moisturizing cream, just as the name 'water sunscreen' suggests, with good moisture. There was no white cast and I didn't feel any unusual eye irritation. I could apply makeup on top of it without it slipping, so it's good to use before makeup as well :)

In my 20s, I have oily skin / acne / sensitive skin ✅Smooth Application The cream was very lightweight and moisturizing, so the application was excellent. After applying toner, serum, and moisturizer, I usually find my previous sunscreen to be a bit thick, but this product was much smoother to apply. Even when testing it on the back of my hand without any hand cream, it spread on very softly and smoothly. It's just like a regular moisturizer! ✅No White Cast Since the products I've used before had a really bad white cast, I didn't experience any white cast with this product. Lately, my skin tone has gotten much darker, so the foundation doesn't match and I've been mixing it with concealer, but even then, there's still a bit of a white cast. But I didn't feel that with this product. ✅Moisture As someone with dehydrated, oily skin, no matter how many layers of skincare I apply, my skin often still feels dry. But true to its name "Airy Water", I was able to get through the whole day without any dryness. I think this would be a good product to use in the fall and winter.

As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I was able to test it for free, but I don't think I would be able to purchase and use it myself. ✅Fragrance There was a constant floral-like scent that I personally disliked. It had a combination of baby powder and some other fragrance that gave a powdery feel. Even though I'm someone who likes to wear perfume, I didn't care for this fragrance. ✅Oiliness By the afternoon, my face became very oily, unlike when I used my previous sunscreen. The oiliness was so noticeable that I could feel it without even looking in the mirror. For oily and combination skin, powder and oil blotting papers are a must! But I just wanted to wash my face off - the oiliness was that uncomfortable for me. ✅Stinging & Irritation Strangely, the more I used it, the more my skin started to feel irritated, which is why I took off one star. And if it accidentally gets in your eyes, it stings them terribly. I had even applied lash serum, but I just had to wipe my eyes. They're still stinging... I'm going to use this product only below my face from now on.😢😢
