This is my personal review, so please take it as a reference:) *Why I bought it I was looking for a good balm, and I liked that this one was multi-purpose and came in nice colors. So I bought different varieties to try. *Amount For a balm, there's quite a lot, so it lasts a long time. *Texture It's slightly oily, which is expected for a balm. It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing without being heavy. I'm satisfied with how hydrating it feels. *Pros -Has color, so it can be used as makeup too -Great for those who need a quick boost of vitality and hydration -Pretty good ingredients -I'm using it very efficiently *Cons -If you keep applying it to your lips, it can actually dry them out and cause a lot of dead skin cells to appear. I have a habit of peeling them off when this happens... -One of the drying ingredients is titanium dioxide. It's similar to MAC's famous Chili lipstick - gorgeous color, but really emphasizes dry patches and is very drying, so I gave it to a friend. This product has a bit of that issue too. *Overall I'm generally satisfied, but as someone who uses it often on my lips, I probably won't repurchase. Depending on the color, it could work really well with makeup if used correctly. *No real downsides other than the drying effect. It might be nice to have different colors to carry around, especially if you can get them on sale. *It can bring life to a bare face when applied - an*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 9, 2024
It enhances your lip color beautifully. I even use it as a blush. It looks natural and pretty. The application is smooth, and if you rub it gently, the color becomes softer. It's a bit pricey. I wish there was more product in the package, and it would be great if it were cheaper. It's versatile and useful for those who don't wear much makeup. - ha******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 25, 2024
- It's so moisturizing that it could double as a lip balm - The color gives a natural, healthy-looking flush to your complexion - If left out for too long in hot summer weather, the oil layer may separate When the oil layer separates, you can easily remix it by gently massaging the product - de*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 26, 2024
Although it's a tinted lip balm, it's moisturizing and doesn't stain, making it perfect for casual application. The generous amount means you can use it as a lip or cheek product for a long time. With a wide range of shades available, there's plenty of choice. Despite being a tinted lip balm, the color is quite sheer, so it might not show up well on those with naturally darker lips. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 7, 2024
On days when my lips are chapped, I apply a generous amount before bed, and wake up with smooth lips the next morning It's so thick that it might be inconvenient to use in the morning for daily activities I recommend applying a generous amount before going to sleep! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 6, 2024
Great portability and versatile use for lips, eye area, hands, and more! The dispenser opening is a bit too large, which is slightly disappointing. - mi*****Combination SkinJan 23, 2024
I liked the tinted color and the temporary hydration it provided. It's not moisturizing at all. You're better off using a different lip balm or lip treatment. - ir******Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 15, 2023
It's moisturizing and protects my lips, plus it has color, so I only need to apply one product. It's super convenient and I love it! It works well with light makeup. The only slight inconvenience is that you need to spread it with your fingers. I love how it gives a lively look when I dab a bit on my cheeks and blend it out. It's great that you can use it for both lips and cheeks in one product. - za*****Combination SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2023
It provides great hydration and has a slight tint, making it perfect for winter use. The rich texture would be ideal for those with dry skin during the colder months. Due to its rich consistency, it's best not to apply too much. A little goes a long way. - ry********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 29, 2023
I first used Dr. POPO's yellow product and it's memorable because I didn't lose it for once, and it had great moisturizing effects. Now that winter's here again and my lips are getting dry, I needed a lip balm, so I bought the red balm this time. The color was exactly what I wanted, and it instantly moisturizes upon application, so I feel like I made a good purchase. It's also great for daily use when going to work with a bare face. The hydration is excellent too. I used to get annoyed when lipstick would make my dead skin cells visible, but if I apply this before lipstick, it goes on smoothly and moistly. If you apply it at the start of your makeup routine and finish with lipstick, it looks even more hydrated. The large size makes it great value for money. First-time users might dislike the oil scent. The color doesn't last very long. Being in a tube, it's hard to squeeze out when it's cold and you really have to press hard. It's disappointing that it tends to melt if left in a warm place. You can use it not just as a lip balm, but also as an eyeshadow or blush!
