Gentle and non-irritating product! Fragrance-free and comes in a large size. Likely suitable for all skin types. Great as a basic base layer. Doesn't feel sticky. For extremely dry skin, it doesn't provide deep hydration. Lacks intense moisturizing effect. I apply this as a base layer after cleansing, then layer a more hydrating product on top. It's more effective than applying it directly to bare skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 18, 2023
You can use it generously without worry, and even when applied liberally, it absorbs quickly which is really impressive. I also love the very subtle lemon-like scent. It's not irritating, and since it's an anti-wrinkle toner, my skin doesn't feel tight even after using just this for a while. I just noticed I've already used more than half the bottle! While it would be excellent for those with dry skin, people with extremely oily skin might find it a bit lacking. I've been putting it in an empty mist bottle and spraying it on for use! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSep 2, 2022
1. Fragrance-free 2. Lightweight, perfect for summer use 3. Comes in a generous size 4. Non-sticky finish 5. Absorbs well into the skin 6. Can be used with cotton pads for a mask-like treatment 7. Gentle on the skin! 1. Might be too lightweight for those seeking intense hydration 2. It's more of a decent product rather than an exceptional one. Try using it with self-adhesive cotton pads from Olive Young for a DIY mask routine! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 14, 2022
This is one of the best exfoliating toners I've ever used. I have severely dry skin, especially underneath, so except for midsummer, I only use essence-type toners. Water-based toners tend to dry out quickly, making my skin feel even more dehydrated, so I usually avoid them. However, this one feels moisturizing when applied. Even if I use it alone and wait a bit, it doesn't tighten or dry out my skin like other water toners. Most importantly, it feels gentle. I love that there's no irritation when I use it for toning with a cotton pad. When comparing patting and swiping methods, patting is definitely superior. As for its dead skin cell removal effectiveness, I'm not entirely sure. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2022
I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, and I'm thrilled to report that this product is gentle on the skin with no irritation or tingling sensation. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Despite its ginger-inspired name, which might put some people off, the scent is actually quite pleasant and not overpowering at all! The only slight drawback is that the formula is quite runny. Other than that, I found it to be an excellent product with no real complaints. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2022
The scent isn't overpowering and it's not irritating at all, which I really appreciate! For context, while I don't have super sensitive skin, I occasionally experience a stinging sensation when using products that don't agree with me. I was pleased to find that even when applied to areas with blemishes, there was no irritation or worsening of the condition. I primarily use it as an exfoliating toner, and I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and how well it absorbs, leaving my skin nicely hydrated. The product comes in a generous size, and so far, I haven't found anything to complain about! Given its liquid consistency, I find it works better as an exfoliating toner rather than just using it as is! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 28, 2022
Absorbs: 5/5 Absorbs well: 4/5 Hydration: 4/5 First off, I love how gentle it is! The scent is subtle and pleasant. I soak a cotton pad generously and leave it on for about 5 minutes before removing. My skin feels so wonderfully moisturized afterward! The remaining product I pat into my skin, and the absorption is really impressive. It feels light on the skin without any heavy residue. I couldn't find any downsides... Well, the pump dispenses the product well and it's lightweight. Thumbs up! I always apply toner with a cotton pad. It seems to help balance my skin better and prevents wasting the product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2022
I like it because of its good ingredients. As someone with sensitive skin, I didn't feel any irritation, which suggests it's gentle. The finish feels refreshingly light. I didn't particularly notice any improvement in my skin. I apply it by patting it into my skin with my hands or use it as an exfoliating toner with a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJun 26, 2022
It's on the thinner side, but feels moisturizing and gentle. It's great as an exfoliating toner, but also works well as a hydrating mist in summer. The luxurious packaging design makes it a satisfying gift option for friends and family. Due to its thin consistency, it can be a bit messy when applied directly with hands. I recommend using a cotton pad to swipe it on or transferring it to a spray bottle to use as a mist. Keep in mind the potential drawbacks! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 26, 2022
The large volume and gentle ingredients allowed me to use it without worry. I felt like it thoroughly removed dead skin cells, and while I'll need to use it more to be sure, it seems like it will be quite effective. For those with combination dehydrated skin who are primarily seeking hydration, this might feel a bit lacking. However, if you layer it with a hydrating gel, serum, or essence, it could work really well. For best results, saturate a cotton pad with the toner, use it to even out your skin tone, and then move on to the next step in your skincare routine.
