You can use it generously without worry, and even when applied liberally, it absorbs quickly which is really impressive. I also love the very subtle lemon-like scent. It's not irritating, and since it's an anti-wrinkle toner, my skin doesn't feel tight even after using just this for a while. I just noticed I've already used more than half the bottle! While it would be excellent for those with dry skin, people with extremely oily skin might find it a bit lacking. I've been putting it in an empty mist bottle and spraying it on for use!

This is one of the best exfoliating toners I've ever used. I have severely dry skin, especially underneath, so except for midsummer, I only use essence-type toners. Water-based toners tend to dry out quickly, making my skin feel even more dehydrated, so I usually avoid them. However, this one feels moisturizing when applied. Even if I use it alone and wait a bit, it doesn't tighten or dry out my skin like other water toners. Most importantly, it feels gentle. I love that there's no irritation when I use it for toning with a cotton pad. When comparing patting and swiping methods, patting is definitely superior. I have combination dehydrated skin that leans oily, with irregular breakouts about twice a month, lots of acne and sebum. When I use oily products, my skin gets itchy and develops blemishes. This is amazing for calming blemishes! As a high school student, my skin flare-ups are unpredictable and quite severe. But when I use this as a toner pack, I can see it soothing my skin right away. It calms my extremely red skin to a pink tone in just 5 minutes. For oily or sebum-prone skin, you might need to use more, but it's incredibly effective for acne and blemishes - you can feel it working immediately. I'll definitely repurchase this, no doubt about it! While it's not a miracle worker for hydration (it is a toner after all), it's far from lacking in that department. There's practically no scent either - I honestly can't even remember what it smells like because it's so unnoticeable. Well, it's pricey. I wish they'd come out with a larger size. Other than that, I don't feel it's lacking in any way functionality-wise. When your skin is super red and angry, try a toner pack for 5-10 minutes and you'll see how well it calms down! I find that occasionally fanning it with a handheld fan and then stopping makes the toner pack cool down, which seems to help it soothe even better.

As someone who prefers patting toner with my hands rather than using an exfoliating toner, I found this one great for that purpose - it absorbs well without any sticky feeling. It might be a personal preference, but I was hoping for a bit more of that ginger scent... Oh well! When using it as an exfoliating toner, I've found it's best to apply it slowly with a soft cotton pad, gently pressing it into the skin to allow it to absorb deeply.

It's great for patting onto your skin after cleansing, and when your skin texture feels a bit off, you can soak a cotton pad and gently wipe your face with it. I was curious if it would smell like ginger since it's in the name, but it doesn't! The ingredients are good, and it seems to have a nice soothing effect. I tend to get very flushed easily due to my high body temperature, and I'm also quite oily, so my acne gets especially bad in the summer. But using this hasn't made my blemishes worse, so I use it every day. Somehow, it gives a refreshing feeling when I pat it in, which I love! I also use it as a soothing mask by soaking cotton pads and placing them on my face. It has a clean finish without any stickiness or greasiness, making it great for layering essences or creams on top. It's perfect for my oily skin! Plus, I love that it comes in a large size! I'm also intrigued by the brand concept, so I'm interested in trying their other products. There aren't really any downsides I've found so far! Of course, you still need to apply a moisturizer after this toner. I loved how convenient it was to use morning, noon, and night, and the amount was quite generous. This water toner absorbs quickly, instantly sinking into the skin and leaving a fresh finish. It's such a perfect match for my skin that I honestly can't find anything to complain about! I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, and I'm thrilled to report that this product is gentle on the skin with no irritation or tingling sensation. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Despite its ginger-inspired name, which might put some people off, the scent is actually quite pleasant and not overpowering at all! The only slight drawback is that the formula is quite runny. Other than that, I found it to be an excellent product with no real complaints.
