The staying power is a bit on the shorter side! There's about a 4-5 hour difference between photos 1 and 2, and you can see the oil coming through already. So the longevity isn't particularly impressive. Also, I have a feeling that if you apply it carefully, the puff might actually work better than the brush!

For my combination dehydrated skin, I use the Fanel Serum Cushion. Since the Fanel Cushion doesn't have a super matte finish, I decided to try this powder compact. It comes with both a powder puff and a brush - maybe because it's a special set! I was worried the puff might cake up the product, so I used the brush to sweep it over my skin. It's not just a regular powder, but a primer powder, which I loved because it made my makeup feel set. The finish was beautifully matte, which I really enjoyed!

I apply the Banila Co powder first, then layer a thin coat of pore-concealing powder on top. This might be a bit challenging for combination or dry skin types!

The price is definitely the biggest drawback. However, the Banila Co powder seems really excellent!
