ConsWhen applied with the included puff, it tends to clump easily, so I recommend using a brush instead.
TipIf you layer it multiple times over the T-zone where pores are relatively large, it creates a beautiful blurred effect, resulting in a flawless skin finish!

ConsYou need to be careful when using this powder, as the puff can cause product to clump when it comes into contact with other skincare items.

I love that it's in a compact form, so there's no excess when carrying it around. It's so good that I'm on my nth purchase!
ConsIf you apply too much powder, it can appear cakey. It's essential to control the amount used. I recommend using a brush instead of the included puff!
TipUse a brush instead of the puff for application!

I've been using compacts to improve makeup longevity and have tried various brands like MISSHA, espoir, and too cool for school. However, I always end up coming back to Banila Co. The powder is finely milled and has great staying power. It seems the case has been redesigned with a new middle lid, which I really like.
ConsI find myself not using the provided puff much. Also, as with other compacts, the product tends to clump up due to oil buildup, so you need to scrape it occasionally.

Compared to other products, you don't need to remove excess - it's easy to control the amount, allowing for precise coverage.
ConsWhen makeup breaks down, it tends to clump more noticeably than with other primers. However, if you're careful with the amount you use, you shouldn't have issues with it looking chalky.
TipUsing a brush can help achieve an even cleaner coverage.

So, among the compacts available in the store, I chose this one as it seemed to control oil the fastest. The scent wasn't particularly bothersome. It definitely reduced oiliness after use and seemed to help prevent makeup from breaking down, so I recommend this product. The built-in mirror and cap are cute, so I plan to keep it stocked and use it regularly.
ConsThe puff isn't very durable, and if you don't apply it properly, it can clump significantly. I applied a lot with my fingers and then patted it with the puff, but you can see the clumping in the photo. Also, the puff gets dirty easily. Please consider changing the puff. Additionally, the price is quite high, which can be burdensome.
TipMake sure to pat it in thoroughly after applying, otherwise it will clump.

It's the best powder I've used for controlling oil, which is why I repurchased it! My once-greasy face instantly becomes velvety smooth when I apply this. I think it would work well for all complexions, but it's especially great for those with oily or combination skin! The staying power is excellent too. I'm almost finished with my current one and plan to buy it again!
ConsFirst off, the puff is disappointing. After a bit of use, it clumps up, preventing the powder from applying evenly. Also, the scent is quite strong. The case seems a bit flimsy too... I dropped it once, and now it won't close properly. Lastly, this might not be the best fit for those with dry skin. I have dry skin myself, and it did feel a bit drying.

Unbeatable coverage for uneven skin texture: Attention all powder nomads waiting for that perfect coverage! This is the top choice for concealing textured skin. Just apply the right amount - not too little, not too much. 2. No white cast: As someone with extremely dry skin, my biggest stress is when makeup looks flaky and white. The Banila Co. compact doesn't do this at all. It feels light and powdery in the best way! 3. Staying power: During a sports day, I was sweating and running around a lot, but this powder's longevity is incredible. It lasted so well! When it comes to staying power, it doesn't fall behind any other powder. 4. Simple case design: Sometimes it's inconvenient to do makeup secretly at school with a flashy case, but the Banila Co. compact case is just the right level of pretty. Perfect for touching up on the go! 5. Feels fresh even under a mask: For someone like me who equates powder with a fresh feel, and who wears a mask all day at school, the Banila Co. compact is a game-changer. It's amazing how it still feels fresh even after taking off my mask after 7th period.
Cons1. The puff though...?: While the compact itself is great, the puff is a bit disappointing. It clumps up quickly after just a little use, making it hard to apply evenly. 2. The scent: As a huge fan of baby powder scents, I love the fresh baby smell. However, it has a strong, distinctive fragrance that might be overwhelming for those sensitive to scents. I recommend visiting an offline store to test it first if you're particular about fragrances. 3. Powder coating: Compared to other powders (like those from Laneige or Innisfree), this one develops a heavy powder coating quite quickly after a bit of use. Even if you scrape off that part and use it again, it's an endless cycle. This definitely needs a revamp soon.
Tip1. Want to maximize your makeup's staying power? - For combination skin: Apply evenly once, then reapply two or three times on areas that tend to get oily. (This will make it absolutely budge-proof) - For oily skin: Apply a thin layer all over, then reapply another layer evenly. (Note: Those with combination dehydrated skin should stick to two layers to avoid caking. If you're an oil-producing legend, add one more thin, even layer) - For dry skin: Be sure to control the amount on the base of your palm, and apply the tiniest amount only on areas where oil tends to surface or makeup easily breaks down. Pat it on rather than rubbing. (Pro tip: If you have extremely dry skin, I highly recommend skipping powder altogether in winter) 2. For more even application, use a brush instead of the included puff.
