There's no white cast, which is great, and it's perfect as a base before makeup! I can't think of any particular downsides, but make sure to let it absorb fully before applying your cushion foundation. It gives a dewy, glass-skin effect, so I don't feel the need to use an additional mist!

When I apply makeup on top, the makeup just glides on smoothly. The results may vary depending on the combination, but since I'm very satisfied with the skin condition after applying the sunscreen, I'd recommend ordering a sample from the official website and trying it on your face if you're hesitant about purchasing it! there were no particular disappointments. before applying it to the face, it looked like a regular white sunscreen, which was a bit boring (haha). these days, there are many different types of serums and formulations, but this one is definitely a cream. I got caught up in the Hwahae, so I applied the Hyal cream here → then applied sunscreen → and put on banana ice cream and concealers, and not a single flake came off, it just glided on smoothly. However, as it is, it's natural but the coverage is really weak, so I lightly pressed another brand's cushion on top, and since the base was in good condition, the cushion absorbed really well...

While it doesn't have a white cast, it subtly brightens my complexion, giving me a nice glow. Personally, I think it would be perfect if it were fragrance-free. Everything else is great, but I'm not a fan of scented products, which makes me hesitant about repurchasing. It's really disappointing that all the other Shy Shy Shy skincare products are fragranced too. I have dry skin. This product is wonderfully hydrating, making it perfect as a base before applying makeup. It's also gentle on the eyes with minimal irritation. It's moisturizing, beautiful, and has a lovely scent. The design is so pretty it makes my vanity look gorgeous. The amount seems small for the price. It feels like it runs out quickly with regular use. At first, I was pleased with this sunscreen. It caused less eye irritation compared to others, had no white cast, and felt moisturizing without being too oily. However, during the changing seasons when my skin became more sensitive, I tried it again and unfortunately experienced some breakouts and mild eye irritation. While this could be partly due to my skin's increased sensitivity, I'd recommend those with super sensitive skin to consider other options. For those who don't typically experience reactions or eye discomfort, I wholeheartedly recommend this product. It tends to pill slightly if applied immediately after your skincare routine. I loved how it applied like an emulsion, and the scent was pleasant. It worked wonderfully with my sensitive skin. To be honest, I couldn't find any downsides while using it. It was just that good!

I loved that it didn't sting my eyes and there was no white cast. It feels like it absorbs well into the skin quickly. There is a slight scent, but it's not overwhelmingly strong or bothersome! It's also great to mix with liquid foundation for application.
