This brightening moisturizer is my go-to for perfecting my complexion! Since I started using this product, I've been able to completely ditch foundation. It's truly the ideal brightening moisturizer for a foundation-free look. It absorbs well with a hydrating feel, and the lasting power is so good that I rarely need touch-ups. Even though some oil does come through, it doesn't fade or darken much. Plus, it really makes my skin look amazing. The added bonus of sun protection makes it even more convenient. I use the Lilybyred tone-up cushion for touch-ups, and the two work so well together that they've become my absolute holy grail products! First off, the product lid that many people mention! It spins loosely, and the new product doesn't even have a seal on the opening, so a lot leaks out. You need to close it carefully to avoid waste. As it's quite hydrating, it can lead to increased oil production, so those with very oily skin might find it bothersome. Although it does have SPF, I always make sure to apply a separate sunscreen before using this brightening moisturizer. To improve its staying power, try setting it with powder after application. If you want your makeup to stay put all day, try this trick: Generously mist your face with a facial mist (or toner), then mix this brightening moisturizer with the toner on your skin for a perfect, long-lasting finish. It's moisturizing and doesn't separate when applied over sunscreen. It also does a great job of evening out skin tone. It might be too light for those with darker complexions. It absorbs so thinly and lightly that it feels like you're not wearing anything. You can layer sunscreen and foundation on top without any pilling or caking. There's really nothing to complain about. It's convenient to solve both sunscreen and base makeup in one go. It naturally brightens and adds a slight sheen to the skin. When finished with a setting powder, it gives a clean look that's about one shade lighter, making it perfect for daily light makeup. It's smooth to apply and has almost no scent - just a slight medicinal aroma. The packaging is a bit disappointing. If the ridges inside the cap don't align perfectly with the holes, it spins without closing, so you need a bit of technique to close it properly. Apply this, add some setting powder, draw your eyebrows, and put on some lip balm - and your daily makeup routine is complete!

It doesn't fully cover the marks from acne injection treatments on my forehead. After applying a brightening moisturizer with SPF, I layer this base mainly on areas with freckles or dark spots on my cheeks. Then, I pat on the A*ze jelly cushion generously. The result? This product is better suited for dry skin rather than oily skin. I liked that it has just the right amount of richness and spreads easily when applied. I felt that it might be a bit weak for oily skin.
