The fragrance is lovely and the color is beautiful, which makes applying it a delightful experience. As expected, it gives a satisfying feeling of tackling dryness, which I really appreciate. Being an oil-based formula, it can feel a bit heavy on the lips. It doesn't seem to improve the overall condition of the lips. I found that applying just a small amount works better for me. - gy******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 16, 2025
The dry and chapped lips are relieved with honey and cherry. Honestly, it may be the original of lip oils. It's rare to find a product that has all three elements - spreadability, color, and moisturizing power. It's dense but not at all sticky, and it goes on the lips thinly and smoothly! Personally, I like to apply honey over lipstick, and cherry is good on bare lips. There is no emphasis on flaky skin, and instead, the soothing + moisturizing effect lasts a long time, making it much more satisfying than a lip balm. The photo is a sample! The downside is that the product does not have good longevity for the price. However, I still like it. At night, it is also applied thickly like a lip sleeping pack. - kl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2025
The color isn't too vibrant, and it provides full coverage on the lips The formula tends to harden, the lid doesn't close properly, and it's difficult to control the amount - ho****Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
As expected from a popular product, the color payoff was great. I highly recommend it and want to keep using it. Personally, I didn't find any drawbacks. It's a product with high satisfaction. - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedDec 11, 2024
I've been using this in my dry office. I started using it during seasonal changes and winter even before the tanghulu lip trend took off. It's convenient to use in moderation. The scent is pleasant, and the strawberry jam-like color is nice. I've been enjoying it, but the ingredients aren't as good as I expected! It doesn't stain and fades quickly. Also, if you have naturally pale lips, it might not be enough when used alone. A common drawback of moisturizing, sticky lip products is that your hair sticks to your lips when it's windy. Since it quickly disappears as if you never applied it, it's best to layer it over a lip tint. - ye****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedNov 27, 2024
A lip oil that works wonders on its own, especially for dry lips Color payoff: ⭐️️️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Application: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hydration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Longevity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It offers a non-sticky, oil-based moisture that's incredibly hydrating. When applied, it gives your lips a plump, gorgeous look. As someone with extremely dry skin, this is perfect for me. I loved the Papaya shade so much that I went ahead and got Cherry too! Color: It has a subtle red tone that suits both cool and warm skin tones. Clarins lip oils contain pigments that react to your lips' natural pH, allowing the color to adapt beautifully to your own lip shade. I was initially worried that the deep red in the bottle might be too intense, but it actually gives a lovely, subtle red tint. As expected, Cherry also works great on its own! Application & Texture: It applies smoothly with just a quick swipe. Just apply and press your lips together - that's it! Despite being an oil, it's not overly sticky. It provides a moisturizing, oil-like feel without being heavy or tacky. It absorbs quickly, leaving your lips feeling fresh. The hydration is top-notch. If you have dry skin, you need to get this ASAP. I'm already on my second bottle! Longevity: After about 30 minutes, the oily feeling fades away. But to be fair, most lip glosses tend to wear off after a while. The color also fades by about two-thirds after 30 minutes or so. However, this seems to be a common characteristic of lip oils. Like lipsticks, anything that isn't a lip tint tends to have limited staying power. Product amount: The quantity is a bit on the smaller side. If you apply it frequently, you might go through a bottle in about a month. Pro tip: Try applying this over a lip tint! It really makes the color pop beautifully! - sw*******Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 3, 2024
Lip oil is perfect for winter. It gives a beautifully sheer tint and feels moisturizing. This winter, I'm all about this product. With frequent use, I noticed some dead skin cells coming up, so it might not be as hydrating as a lip balm. - k7******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2024
The fragrance is absolutely gorgeous, and it leaves my lips feeling so moisturized! I've only been able to use it a few times, and there's not much left. I'm trying to use it sparingly. For best results, apply lip balm first, then follow with this oil. It really helps achieve soft, supple lips. - sa*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2024
This is my daily go-to product. My lips tend to be dry, so I apply it frequently, and I prefer it over tinted lip balms. It's great for bare-faced days too. The color payoff is just right - not too intense, and it keeps my lips hydrated. I love the wide, soft applicator tip as well. While I'm slightly disappointed with some of the ingredients, I'm satisfied with everything else. There aren't many drawbacks to mention. - kd****Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2024
It's wonderfully moisturizing and the color is beautiful. I love that it also helps with wrinkle care! It tends to slightly run below the lips and dries a bit faster than I expected.
