Being a fermented ampoule, it might be a love-it-or-hate-it product. It works well for me since my skin responds positively to fermented products. When I apply it at night, my makeup goes on smoothly in the morning. I'd recommend using it in your evening routine rather than in the morning.
ConsThe slight stickiness might be a concern for those with oily skin types.

When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to see the product carefully wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. It immediately gave me a sense of trust and gentleness. My skin type is combination but sensitive. I'm especially prone to blemishes if even a small amount of dead skin cells builds up. Having just entered my 50s, I thought I'd be past the blemish phase, but it seems sensitivity doesn't care about age! With mandatory mask-wearing these days, I've been experiencing more skin issues like blemishes and dead skin cell buildup. My skin has become so sensitive that even a slight accumulation of dead skin cells causes breakouts here and there. The Fermented Mung Bean Ampoule has a gel-like texture that feels firm when applied, adding a boost of hydration. It's quite different from other peeling products with a gommage texture. One pump on each cheek and forehead was enough to maintain sufficient moisture, so I didn't feel any dryness during the rolling process, which was great. After cleansing, I applied only toner, went to the market briefly, then used the ampoule and wiped it off. Wow! The outside world is so dirty, it seems! At first, I wondered how this could remove dead skin cells, but after applying it and leaving it for about 2 minutes before rolling, I was surprised by how much came off. My previous product was a cream type, and each time I used it, loads of dead skin would come off, which honestly made me doubt its effectiveness. With this Mung Bean Ampoule, there wasn't much coming off after the first use, which made me believe it had properly removed the dead skin cells. It's recommended to use every 5 days, but since my skin seems to accumulate a lot of impurities, I used it every 3 days. What I loved most was how clean and non-tight my skin felt afterward. I was worried the ampoule might run into my eyes during rolling, but it stayed put without any issues. Usually, with washable products, you can't see how much dead skin has been removed, but wiping this off made me realize I definitely need this product! Even the small blemishes that were starting to appear have calmed down significantly, really driving home how gentle this product is. I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin, and I'll definitely continue using the Fermented Mung Bean Ampoule for the foreseeable future.
ConsOne downside is that it doesn't seem to completely dissolve blackheads. While slightly disappointing, it doesn't hinder overall usage. Some people might dislike the sticky texture. Although it's labeled as an ampoule, the heavy texture means it takes longer to absorb, so it might be a bit much to use as a regular ampoule in your routine.
TipI used it for dead skin cell removal, but it seems some people use it just as a regular ampoule. I think it's best suited for exfoliation purposes.

The formula has a transparent green tint and a thin, bouncy texture that glides on easily. You can cover a large area with just a small amount. The scent is refreshingly pleasant and not overpowering. What's great is how it helps smooth out rough dead skin cells, making it a convenient ampoule for skin maintenance.
ConsSince it contains fermented ingredients and has exfoliating properties, those with super sensitive skin should use caution. While the texture is thin, it can feel a bit sticky, which might make your skin feel slightly suffocated. It's probably better suited for occasional use rather than as part of a daily routine, depending on your skin's needs.
TipAs with all cosmetics, it's crucial to patch test this ampoule on a sensitive area before applying it all over your face. For those with sensitive skin, this might be too stimulating for daily use. I plan to use it just two or three times a week to avoid any potential irritation!

I'd heard that laha was one of the gentlest exfoliating ingredients. While many skincare products contain exfoliating ingredients that are absorbed, this one allows for exfoliation like you're cleansing with an ampoule, which piqued my curiosity! Because of my thin skin, I kept the rolling time to a minimum and only used it once a week. The next day, my skin texture was noticeably improved! The exfoliation seemed to help my cream absorb better, giving my skin a natural glow. I was amazed to see that it even helped reduce my stubborn blackheads. Unlike other exfoliants that often leave my skin feeling dry, this ampoule formula seemed to hydrate while exfoliating, so I didn't experience any dryness. Remember, overdoing exfoliation can be harmful, so sticking to once a week should be ideal.
ConsI tried using it like a regular ampoule without physical exfoliation, but it was so sticky that I developed small bumps on my temples. After stopping use for two days, they disappeared. For those with thin, dry skin like mine, I think it's better to use this 1-2 times a week as an exfoliant, rolling quickly and washing off, rather than frequent use. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. While it likely contains quality ingredients, it might not be cost-effective for daily use.
TipYou know that over-exfoliating can damage your skin, right? I use my ring finger to roll it on as gently and quickly as possible. Since I've already exfoliated, I felt that using a cotton pad to wipe it off might be too harsh, so I just rinsed twice with water and still saw results!

After a few days, I noticed the dead skin cells were removed, leaving my skin smooth. As someone with super sensitive skin that usually breaks out immediately when using incompatible products, I was relieved to experience no irritation. The product absorbs well and I appreciated its fragrance-free formula.
ConsThe pump seems faulty as it doesn't dispense properly. There's a slight stickiness that might make it uncomfortable to apply all over the face.

Above all, it's fragrance-free in my opinion, which makes it a great recommendation for those with sensitive noses. As it's a soothing ampoule, I had high expectations when I started using it. Due to prolonged mask-wearing, I had excess sebum around my chin area, and because I wear glasses, I developed blemishes around my eyes where I don't usually apply skincare products. Even after just one day of use, the redness on my cheeks subsided. By the second day, my skin felt noticeably smoother, and I could see a significant reduction or disappearance of the blemishes around my eyes and the sebum buildup near my chin. Reading the detailed product description, I learned it's vegan, which makes it seem less likely to cause issues. Thanks to the ingredient list on Hwahae, I feel confident continuing to use it without worry! ⭐️ I highly recommend this to anyone looking for skin elasticity, or help with reducing facial redness, excess sebum, or blemishes...
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, the product texture is slightly sticky, but when applied to the face, the ampoule dries quickly, leaving a somewhat dry feeling. So, you need to apply cream right after the ampoule has dried a bit, which can be a bit of a hassle. Looking at other reviews, it seems the level of stickiness varies from person to person! If you're planning to use this product, please keep this in mind.
TipAs mentioned above, apply your moisturizer right after you feel the ampoule has slightly dried! You'll notice your skin becoming hydrated and smooth!
