As it's a body wash for acne-prone skin, I noticed that it effectively cared for any body blemishes the more I used it. The scent was refreshing and invigorating, and the lather formed abundantly with just a little rubbing. Using a shower puff or towel helped create even more lather. The cleansing power was good enough to remove my Etude House sunscreen on my arm, but the Nain Wishes body tone-up cream was a bit harder to wash off and required 2-3 extra cleansings (personal experience). The ingredients are well-suited for acne-prone skin, which I liked. After showering, I felt that it lacked moisturizing properties, likely because it's formulated for summer use. It would probably work well for oily skin types.
ConsEven though I thought my face and body were both oily, I realized that wasn't the case after using this product. My body felt incredibly dry after using this body wash!! It's a body wash that really lacks any moisture. I think this would be perfect for those with oily skin and body blemishes!!
Tip✅For those with dry skin, I highly recommend applying a body lotion afterwards to lock in moisture! ✅Using a shower puff or towel will help create an even richer lather.

You can feel a subtle cooling sensation, and the citrus herb fragrance (which is difficult to describe, but can be described as refreshing and soothing) combined with the luxurious, creamy lather makes you feel revitalized after use. While it doesn't prevent body acne, it seems to have a calming effect on existing blemishes.
ConsThe only downside is that the product-to-price ratio is a bit disappointing, as the quantity is a little low.
TipTo effectively treat body acne, apply the shower gel directly to the affected areas, then create a lather with a small amount of water and use that to cleanse the rest of your body.

There are small acne on the chest and back, but it's not severe. Use for 1-2 weeks. Texture: White and thin, with good flow. Fragrance: The citrus fragrance is quite appealing. The lingering scent is not too strong on the body, but it's noticeable when washing and a bit intense. Lather: I think this is the best lathering body wash among the acne-focused ones. Just one pump on the shower puff creates rich, long-lasting lather until the end. Volume: The price-to-volume ratio is not the best, but since the usage amount per shower is not too much, it's reasonable. Feeling: My previous body wash gave a gentle soap-like lather, leaving a squeaky-clean feeling that rinsed off quickly. This product, however, has a more cushiony, slightly slippery lather that leaves a softer, less squeaky feel even after rinsing (not slippery). Cleansing power: I usually get itchy back and breakouts if I don't use body wash properly, but with this, my back feels smooth and there's no irritation. However, to get rid of back acne, developing good shower habits is more important than just using this product. Ingredients: Contains some caution ingredients and allergens, so sensitive users should check the ingredients before purchasing.
ConsThe lather is too abundant, which can take some time to thoroughly rinse off the shower puff.
TipIf using a shower puff, one pump is sufficient.

It feels like I'm cleansing myself thoroughly, and although I've been having a lot of skin issues on my chest and back from exercising, it seems like the breakouts are less frequent than before, maybe due to the product's effects!
ConsI usually don't use a shower towel and just wash with my hands, but the formula has a slightly sticky texture, so it doesn't lather up as well. Using a shower towel helps create more foam, so that's not really an issue when I use one.

It seems to be a refreshing scent with a hint of citrus, and I absolutely love it! My boyfriend can't stop sniffing me every time I come out of the shower, haha. - I think it will be perfect to use in the summer, as it gives a cool, refreshing feeling. It also leaves me feeling clean and invigorated after washing off sweaty skin. - The packaging is so cute. I really like the sky blue color, haha.
Cons- It has no viscosity at all, so it just flows down like a liquid. It might be difficult to use with a shower puff instead of a loofah.

It has an extremely creamy texture, so it applies very smoothly. I have a bit of dryness, but after using it for about a week, the dryness hasn't completely gone away, but I could definitely feel it becoming more supple. I think it's worth a try for those who have a lot of skin troubles. Also, with the citrus scent and lightweight feel, it seems perfect for use in the summer.
ConsWhile the scent isn't overpowering, if you don't like citrus scents, you may want to consider it. And since it has a lightweight feel, it seems difficult to expect strong moisturizing power. It seems more suitable for summer than winter.

I really love the scents of lemon, orange, and grapefruit, but I've always been worried about the ingredients, so I've never bought shower products with those fragrances before. However, since I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I tried it out, and when I sprayed it on the shower puff and lathered it up, the citrus scent was really strong, which I quite enjoyed. My skin is extremely dry, so I tend to prefer slightly alkaline products over acidic ones. But after using it about 3 times, I didn't notice any issues with my skin, and even when I went out right after showering, there were no problems, so I felt that the brand was mindful of the ingredients. The lather is absolutely amazing. Usually when the lather is that good, people worry about the chemical ingredients, but the product information says the foaming is achieved through natural cleansing ingredients, so I used it with peace of mind on that front. Just one spray in a small shower puff is enough to create a ton of lather, and I sprayed it at least twice for the review - this one product is all you need for a full shower. The lather doesn't disappear at all!! It's so convenient. And when you apply it to your body, it has a really soothing, warming sensation. Not an uncomfortable, irritating warmth, but a refreshing, calming warmth from the ingredients. Lately it's been so humid and hot, but even without rinsing with cool water, I felt so refreshed after using this.
ConsNo matter how much they've focused on the ingredients, there are 5 fragrance and allergy-causing ingredients, so I'm a bit worried. So far I've been using it without any major issues, and the user experience has been good, but if I notice anything unusual compared to my normal routine, I'll make adjustments. Other than that, I didn't really notice any other problems. The only thing is that you can't see the contents inside. But the design is cute, so I don't have any complaints!
TipI don't have any real tips, but I do want to reiterate what I said before - the soothing, warming sensation is not unpleasant at all, but actually quite nice. So especially on these hot, humid days when you feel sticky, using this for your shower will give you a sense of your body being refreshed and rejuvenated!

The herbal citrus scent is refreshingly bright and pleasant. The formula is opaque and has a slightly grayish-white tone, as shown in the photos shared by other Hwahae Trial Reviewers. The inclusion of volcanic rock seems to be the reason for the opaque appearance. The lather forms very well with just one pump! It's mentioned that this product would be suitable for adolescents, and the volcanic rock may indeed help with sebum absorption. It rinses off very cleanly and thoroughly. Overall, the Dr. Groot products have been reliable and haven't caused any skin reactions for me.
ConsThe product contains 5 ingredients that require allergy caution. It's quite challenging to find a satisfactory body wash with suitable ingredients.

But after discovering this product, I decided to give it a try. The description mentioned that it helps control oil, treat acne, and eliminate body odor, which are my top concerns during the summer. The texture is wonderfully creamy, almost like a lotion rather than a body wash. The refreshing citrus scent leaves me feeling invigorated after use. I think this product will be incredibly useful for me this summer.
ConsSince I've only been using it for a short time, I don't have any significant complaints about the product so far.

Usage Period: 06/29/22 - 07/06/22 (about a week) Packaging: The opaque pump bottle doesn't hinder usage. However, a transparent container would have helped estimate the remaining amount. Texture: A white, thin formula. Fragrance: Citrusy, with a refreshing lemon scent. Lather: One and a half pumps can cleanse the entire body. It also lathers well when worked up by hand. Volume: The abundant lather suggests it can be used for quite a long time. Usage Experience: The lather becomes silky when massaged. After rinsing, it's not drying at all - just the right level of moisture! Usually other body washes leave the skin dry right after showering, requiring lotion application, but this one doesn't feel dry even after a while. Cleansing Power: It leaves the skin comfortably moist and fluffy, which is great for summer when the skin feels sticky and sweaty. The cleansing power is good. Ingredients: While the usage experience and fragrance were good, the formula contains 1 out of 20 potential irritants and 5 allergens, so it's not recommended for sensitive skin. Price: The original price is 75,500 won, which is quite steep, but it can be purchased for around 19,000 won through online discounts or sales. Repurchase Intent: If there are no adverse reactions with continued use, I would consider repurchasing. However, the ingredient concerns make me hesitate a bit.
Cons1. It's disappointing that the formula contains 1 out of 20 potential irritants and 5 allergens. 2. The opaque packaging makes it difficult to gauge the remaining amount, which is a downside.
