The matte packaging is great as it doesn't show fingerprints. It's not a moisturizing lip product, but it's not your typical liquid tint either. Despite being matte, it applies smoothly with excellent color payoff. It's not overly matte though. The formula transfers easily with just a light touch. Once it sets, the color is truly beautiful. Personally, I think it would suit those with fair skin tones particularly well. Since it's not a hydrating type, you need to exfoliate well before application. I wish the color came out a bit brighter! For a tint, the longevity isn't great... However, this could actually be seen as an advantage, as it means it doesn't stain the lips. Try applying it halfway on the inner part of your lips, then gently dab with a moisturizing lip balm for a pop of color. This creates a lively, natural look. - se*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 9, 2023
Texture: It's the velvety bar type that I adore. This is my favorite lipstick format. Color: It's a pink-red, but with a stronger pink undertone. Application: It's not quite like MAC's Powder Kiss. It's velvety and smooth, but you know that feeling when it glides on a bit too slickly with slightly weak color payoff? That was a little disappointing. While I love the velvety finish after application, the actual process of applying it left something to be desired. Color: Though it doesn't particularly suit my complexion, I bought it to experiment with different shades and for a cool summer look. The color is brighter and more pink-leaning than in the photos. It's a summery pink-red, but with a stronger pink presence, giving it a fresh and vibrant feel. - ga*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2023
First off, the color is a winner! The case is beautiful, and the subtle pink shade is absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, the lipstick arrived broken during shipping, which was disappointing - kh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 14, 2023
As someone with a summer cool skin tone, I'm really satisfied with this and would highly recommend it to others with similar coloring. The shade has a beautiful red base with a hint of pink - it's absolutely gorgeous! The lipstick leans towards the matte side, so if you apply it over a moisturizing base lip product, it tends to come off easily. I'd recommend either wearing it alone or applying it over a matte base lip product for better staying power. - pe******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2023
The texture is quite unique - not quite velvet, not quite glossy, but somewhere in between. When applied, it has a slight sheen like a melting lip product, spreading smoothly and softly. As it dries slightly, it becomes more similar to a velvet finish. This is my first time buying a fixing tint bar, and I think I'll end up purchasing the other shades too! For such a great deal, I'm impressed by the quality. There's absolutely nothing to complain about with this lipstick. Since it takes a little time to set, I recommend applying a thin layer of the fixing tint bar as a base, then quickly adding a pop of color in the center. This creates a naturally fixed look overall. - je*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessApr 2, 2023
I bought this because the color is beautiful - it's a red with a hint of pink. The ingredients are pretty good too, except for about 3 of them. It applies smoothly and adheres well to the lips. I applied it in the morning, and by the afternoon, I had blemishes on both sides of my lips. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with me, but I suspect the Red 202 might be causing lip inflammation. My MAC lipsticks also contain Red 202 but don't cause any issues, so maybe they use a lower concentration than this one. - lo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2023
I love it! It adheres perfectly to my lips without feeling suffocating. It's really to my liking. It doesn't stain, which actually makes me like it even more, haha! - al******Oily SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2023
Is this really a cool-toned product as claimed...? It's one of those purchases I regret. Used it once and now it's just collecting dust in my drawer. I'll give it this - it does set makeup really well! The color might just not be right for me. - lm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 21, 2022
I've been a fan of the Fixing Tint, so I decided to try the Fixing Tint Bar too! Since my favorite shade from the original Fixing Tint line was Smoky Cherry, I picked Clear Berry as it seemed to have a similar vibe. It's a vibrant berry pink that gives off a cheerful feeling and has quite a bit of color saturation. However, it's not too bold - just the right amount of liveliness to add a nice pop to your lips. I'm personally satisfied with the color intensity as it's perfect for creating a subtle accent. What's fascinating is the texture - it's smooth, matte, and powdery, yet not drying at all. It applies in an incredibly thin layer while adhering beautifully to the lips, resulting in minimal transfer. This really explains why it's called a 'Fixing' Tint Bar. Plus, the packaging is elegant and pretty! There's a bit more transfer compared to the original Fixing Tint. Due to its sheer application, your natural lip color shows through slightly when applied. - vi********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 15, 2022
As someone with cool undertones, this shade suited me perfectly. The plum-tinged color really brightened up my complexion. It wasn't matte, but had a more hydrating finish. I own shades 1, 2, and 4, but the cases are identical, making it difficult to distinguish between colors. It would be great if each shade number had a distinct case color.
