★ Great value for money. This is its most standout and almost unique advantage. For the price, the packaging design is decent. The container quality is good too - doesn't crease easily. The size and weight are just right, making it convenient to carry around. Almost no eye irritation. Doesn't seem to cause blemishes after use. (I've noticed more small bumps on my forehead recently, but I suspect it's due to something else.) No white cast. Skin looks the same before and after application (except for the added moisture). Should be easy to wash off. Now that I look closer, it has many potentially harmful ingredients according to Hwahae. ★ The absorption and application are terrible. The texture is thin, but when you put it on your skin, it's like oil floating on water. You have to rub it for ages before it absorbs... or does it? It's hard to tell if it's absorbing or if the moisture is just evaporating, leaving residue on the skin. I bought it thinking I could use it on my body if I didn't like it for my face, but if I have to rub it in dozens of times just to cover one arm, it's not worth the effort. ★ The texture is so thin that I worry about its sun protection effectiveness. Even if it does work, it feels like it would melt off with just a bit of sweat. Other reviews also mention weak sun protection. For a 'sunscreen', poor UV protection is a critical flaw. Disappointed that there's no skin-evening effect due to the lack of white cast. Sometimes leaves white residue in the corners of my eyes. The oiliness is less intense compared to sports sunscreens, which is a plus. You can get 3 for about 10,000 won during online marketplace sales. This product, like many sunscreens, contains octinoxate. This ingredient is known to harm coral reefs, so be mindful when using it before going to the beach. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 15, 2024
It's great to apply before makeup as it's moisturizing without leaving any white cast It might be too rich for oily skin types, so it's probably better suited for those with dry skin When I wanted a subtle, translucent blush effect, I mixed it with my tint for a natural flush - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 11, 2024
It's moisturizing, affordable, and I really like it! The best part is that it doesn't leave any white cast. However, I'm not sure how effective the sun protection actually is... hmm... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2024
I love how moisturizing it is without leaving any white cast. As someone who applies multiple layers of skincare (due to dry skin), I find this product wonderfully hydrating. There's nothing I dislike about it. The baby powder scent is lovely, and the hydration is absolutely fantastic. I learned this tip from YouTube: Instead of rubbing it in with your hands, use a damp makeup sponge to gently spread it along the grain of your skin, then pat it in. This way, even if you apply foundation on top, it won't pill.
