It never leaves a white cast, feels lightweight and transparent, so it's not burdensome at all There's nothing bad, but it does run out faster than expected. I might be using it too often I usually start my makeup routine with this as the first step - k9*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 15, 2024
It absorbs so smoothly, which I really like! It's great for quickly applying when you're in a hurry. I wouldn't recommend this for those looking for a brightening moisturizer with sun protection. Also, it seems to wear off easily, so you need to reapply frequently, which can be a bit of a hassle... - jh****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessJul 27, 2024
★ Great value for money. This is its most standout and almost unique advantage. For the price, the packaging design is decent. The container quality is good too - doesn't crease easily. The size and weight are just right, making it convenient to carry around. Almost no eye irritation. Doesn't seem to cause blemishes after use. (I've noticed more small bumps on my forehead recently, but I suspect it's due to something else.) No white cast. Skin looks the same before and after application (except for the added moisture). Should be easy to wash off. Now that I look closer, it has many potentially harmful ingredients according to Hwahae. ★ The absorption and application are terrible. The texture is thin, but when you put it on your skin, it's like oil floating on water. You have to rub it for ages before it absorbs... or does it? It's hard to tell if it's absorbing or if the moisture is just evaporating, leaving residue on the skin. I bought it thinking I could use it on my body if I didn't like it for my face, but if I have to rub it in dozens of times just to cover one arm, it's not worth the effort. ★ The texture is so thin that I worry about its sun protection effectiveness. Even if it does work, it feels like it would melt off with just a bit of sweat. Other reviews also mention weak sun protection. For a 'sunscreen', poor UV protection is a critical flaw. Disappointed that there's no skin-evening effect due to the lack of white cast. Sometimes leaves white residue in the corners of my eyes. The oiliness is less intense compared to sports sunscreens, which is a plus. You can get 3 for about 10,000 won during online marketplace sales. This product, like many sunscreens, contains octinoxate. This ingredient is known to harm coral reefs, so be mindful when using it before going to the beach. - ju********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 23, 2024
It's gentle! I ordered it after hearing it's safe for kids to use too. Of course, I'll be using it myself, haha. It has a mild, emulsion-like texture that's easy to squeeze out and spread evenly. It's so lightweight that I worry if it's actually providing enough protection. It feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. - ch*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 11, 2024
Absorbs well without feeling heavy. No stinging in the eyes. Applies smoothly on the body too, no stickiness. Easy to apply on the face as it doesn't leave a white cast, even without a mirror. Gentle enough that even kids can use it. Opened in February and used consistently. I've seen comments questioning its sun protection, but I hadn't noticed until now as I wasn't in the sun much. Some people reported getting tanned despite using it. Today, I went to watch an outdoor show. The sun was scorching hot. I applied it once at home and once in the shade before the show. I wore a wide-brimmed hat and reapplied on exposed areas while seated. Result? I got sunburned. Exposed areas became darker than usual, and my face tanned even with the hat on. Just yesterday, my dermatologist stressed the importance of sunscreen after a treatment, warning that medication could cause darkening. I'm shocked that despite applying generously and reapplying, it failed to protect. I've never encountered such ineffective sun protection before, especially since I'm diligent with sunscreen due to my yellowish complexion. My sunburned arms are stinging terribly. My face and skin... what am I going to do? I'm honestly furious. I need to find a different gentle sunscreen that actually works. If you want to get sunburned and tanned like me, go ahead and buy this - sk*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2024
It's great to apply before makeup as it's moisturizing without leaving any white cast It might be too rich for oily skin types, so it's probably better suited for those with dry skin When I wanted a subtle, translucent blush effect, I mixed it with my tint for a natural flush - 06*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2024
It feels like a gentle emulsion. Since it's affordable, I apply it all over my body. Even my kids are using it with me. I'm not sure how effective the sun protection is. Maybe because it feels so light on the skin... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2024
It's moisturizing, affordable, and I really like it! The best part is that it doesn't leave any white cast. However, I'm not sure how effective the sun protection actually is... hmm... - ab*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 29, 2024
I love how moisturizing it is without leaving any white cast. As someone who applies multiple layers of skincare (due to dry skin), I find this product wonderfully hydrating. There's nothing I dislike about it. The baby powder scent is lovely, and the hydration is absolutely fantastic. I learned this tip from YouTube: Instead of rubbing it in with your hands, use a damp makeup sponge to gently spread it along the grain of your skin, then pat it in. This way, even if you apply foundation on top, it won't pill. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 4, 2024
I bought this because it's affordable and has good reviews. When I applied it to the back of my hand, I found it moisturizing and it absorbs well. The slightly odd scent dissipates within a few minutes. The fragrance is artificial and a bit strong, but it doesn't seem to linger for long.
