Skin type: Dehydrated dry skin, slightly oily forehead, dry U-zone, good pores, minor blackheads, occasional small pimples (forehead, between eyebrows, under chin), sensitive atopic skin, and a few freckles. Texture and absorption: It's a basic foam cleansing type. Moisturizing power: Hoho Lavender (purple) > Labocado (yellow) > Strawberry (pink) > Mugwort (green). All four are mask types, so they're all moisturizing, but in my opinion, Hoho Lavender (purple) felt the most hydrating even after cleansing. Dry skin types might find Hoho Lavender the most moisturizing option. Blemishes: None at all, very gentle. Ingredients: Moisturizing and gentle with panthenol and niacinamide. Among the four masks, the Hoho Lavender (purple) with panthenol worked best for me. As it's a foam cleansing mask, it can dry out if left on too long. About 1-2 minutes seems ideal. Also, it's quite expensive. I deducted one star because of the price. The moisturizing formula seems most suitable for winter use, and the mask brush applies the product best. Among the four, I used the Hoho Lavender (purple) the most. - ha*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2025
It whips up into a light, non-irritating foam that removes makeup effortlessly. The lather is rich, and with its pack-like ingredients, my skin feels even better after cleansing. A great bonus is that you can leave it on for a bit like a mask before rinsing for extra benefits. Be very careful around the eyes as it stings terribly if it gets in. I'd strongly recommend using a separate eye makeup remover or cleansing water for eye makeup. - cu******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
Among the whipped line products I've tried from Hohoben, this had the second-best scent after the strawberry one! It has a subtle lavender fragrance! The cleansing effectiveness and hydration are great. There's nothing particularly disappointing! I just wish the price could be a bit more affordable. - wo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
Absolute holy grail! I've used up an entire bottle and it's incredibly hydrating, improves skin texture, cleanses effectively, and is gentle on the skin. It's a game-changer! If cleansing oils or gels feel too heavy, and cleansing foams feel too light, this strikes the perfect balance - not too heavy, not too light. It's just right and so comfortable to use! The price is a bit steep. Since I also use it as a mask, I go through it quickly. Now that I've finished the bottle, I'm hesitant to repurchase due to the cost... - ca*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 19, 2024
This cleanser is truly beautiful for gifting or treating yourself. The packaging is gorgeous, making it a lovely present to give or receive. I often see it in gift sets during live sales events, and the components are quite nice. While its cleansing power is gentle, it leaves your skin feeling moisturized without much tightness after washing. The subtle fragrance is also delightful. It's the kind of product that lifts your spirits during your skincare routine, making it a joy to receive as a gift. I may have set my expectations too high due to all the advertising and viral marketing for this product. It's decent, and the price-to-prettiness ratio is good, but I struggled to find any standout features beyond that (though that could be its best selling point). The jar packaging is inconvenient, and the beautifully fluffy cleansing foam inside tends to shrink over time. Although it's marketed as a pack cleanser, I honestly can't use it as a mask. I have three types of pack cleansers at home, and the textures differ noticeably. It's awkward and impractical to apply as a mask. Compared to other low pH cleansing foams I use, this one felt a bit more irritating. While I don't have sensitive skin, I did notice my skin condition was slightly off - there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. It may seem gentle, but if you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend patch testing before purchasing. I actually preferred the scrub's feel over the cleanser! I'm planning to try the new body scrub and body butter they've released. - ca*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2024
Gentle, possibly due to its vegan formula. After switching from La Bocado, I noticed significantly less dryness on my dry skin, which was great. Surprisingly, it also removes makeup effectively, which I found to be an unexpected bonus. The main drawback is having to scoop it out to use. Also, it's pricier than I expected. - go*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2024
I received this pack cleanser set as a gift and I'm currently using it. After finishing the Mug Tree Lavocado, I'm now using the Hoho Lavender, which I think is the best among the three. The best part is that none of the three cause any skin tightness, but the Hoho Lavender is the gentlest, so I'm really enjoying it. Although it's called a pack cleanser, I tried using it as a mask. However, since you can cleanse with just a small amount, if you use it as a mask, even with a thin layer, you'd have to keep washing all day. So I ended up not using it as a mask. - ae*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 4, 2024
I've tried several cleansing foams from this line, and they're all great! The best part is that my face doesn't feel tight after cleansing. I especially love the lavender scent - it's so relaxing. Using it at night makes me feel sleepy in a good way. While using this product, I didn't experience any blemishes or discomfort at all. As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't use just any skincare product, but this one works perfectly for me! The product works best when applied like a mask for 1-2 minutes before lathering, which means you end up using more product. This could be seen as a slight drawback, but overall it's still a great product! I think it's great to use different colored cleansing products on different areas of your face depending on your skin's condition each day. For example, use the green one on your T-zone, the strawberry one under your eyes for brightening, and the lavender one on your cheeks! - kh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 2, 2024
✓ Scent: The natural lavender fragrance makes it perfect for nighttime skincare routines. ✓ Cleansing effectiveness: While it may not remove heavy makeup, it's excellent at clearing away excess oil and sebum, making it ideal for a second cleanse or morning wash. ✓ Lather: I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lathers, creating a rich, creamy foam. ✓ Texture: It cleanses deep into the pores without that squeaky-clean feeling, and leaves skin feeling hydrated with minimal tightness. After two weeks of consistent use, I noticed an improvement in my skin's condition and texture. ✓ Versatility: Among the four Whipped products, I found myself reaching for the Mugwort and Hoho Lavender versions most often, as they work well with my combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. These were the first to run out in my set of four! ✓ Key benefits: 1. Lovely fragrance 2. Hydrating formula 3. Improves skin texture ✓ Mask application: I tried applying different colors of the Whipped cleansers as a thin layer all over my face. However, I found that using it daily as a cleanser is more effective than as a mask. ✓ Drawback: 1. Jar packaging (hygiene concerns, inconvenience) The jar format makes me wonder about maintaining hygiene until the last use, as I'm constantly dipping wet hands into it. The process of unscrewing the lid, scooping out the product, and closing it again feels a bit cumbersome. Next time, I'll opt for the tube version for sure! Apart from the packaging issue, I didn't find any significant drawbacks with the product itself. - as******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 27, 2024
October 27, 2024 (Monday) Considering I saw it in an advertisement, it's quite disappointing This product seems to offer poor value for money, especially given the many well-established alternatives available in the market
