Using a small amount does calm the frizz, but the texture is quite heavy. I purchased this for the rainy summer season, but the formula makes it impossible to use in summer. It's very heavy and while it does smooth the hair, it completely flattens the volume from roots to ends, making my hair look like it's been straightened. You need to use an extremely small amount on damp hair.
