  After washing my face, it feels incredibly clean and refreshed. Even though I have combination dehydrated skin, I didn't experience severe tightness. It's more of a refreshing tightness? This cleanser is great for managing excess oil and dead skin cells.

  The cleansing effectiveness is phenomenal... After using this, I immediately felt like all the sebum and excess oil were completely wiped away. It left my skin feeling squeaky clean and refreshed. It contains 0.5% salicylic acid, which is said to be good for acne and blackheads. This seems to be their main selling point. While I haven't seen dramatic results yet, I do feel like it's gently exfoliating my skin. I can imagine using this during summer when sebum production goes into overdrive would be incredibly satisfying. Currently, it's winter, so I'm only using it twice a week in the evenings, but I plan to increase to 3+ times a week in summer. I started using this because I think it's good to alternate between slightly acidic and slightly alkaline cleansers, rather than sticking to just one type. While it's supposed to be effective for blackheads, I've noticed that mine haven't disappeared completely, but they've become easier to extract without much effort.

  Cons

  This might be too harsh for combination dehydrated or dry skin types. Since it's a strong cleanser, using it twice daily could potentially wreak havoc on your skin. It's better to start gently, using it only 2-3 times a week in the evening. Not recommended for dry skin types. This is essentially a powerful, slightly alkaline cleanser designed for oily skin types to remove excess sebum.

  After using it, my skin felt smooth and refined. It seems to control excess oil really well!

  Cons

  I bought this because I heard it was good for oily and acne-prone skin. Unfortunately, it was too harsh for me. The very next day after using it, I broke out with inflammation and lots of tiny blemishes. I didn't realize it was because of this cleanser at first, so I used it a couple more times and really paid the price. It'll probably take quite a while for my skin to recover. I definitely don't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin or prone to irritation.

  The salicylic acid in this product really helps control those pesky little blemishes. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean, which is so satisfying! Since I started using it, my skin has improved a lot. It's also great at controlling excess oil.
