🧡Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review🧡 I have combination skin. The texture is not completely watery, nor is it as runny as a nasal mucus texture - it's somewhere in between. So when you apply it, there's a slightly tacky feel to it. Since it's not a completely watery formula, I wouldn't recommend using the 7-skin method or anything like that. Just applying it once or twice and gently patting it in works better for absorption and hydration. I usually use products without fragrance or with just a light, natural scent, so the rose fragrance in this product made me wonder if it might not be good for my skin. But after using it, I didn't have any particular issues.

I was worried about the allergic ingredients, but this toner has more moisturizing properties than water toners. In the summer, I used it after applying a water toner, and I really liked it. I'll switch to using this toner instead of the water toner in the winter. Using this toner hasn't made my blemishes or scars disappear, but my skin texture has really improved. First of all, the thing I noticed while using the product was that it's a toner with quite a thick consistency! It's not an extremely runny formula due to the thickness, and that's why the moisturizing effect was so noticeable. Other people mentioned using it as a sheet mask by soaking cotton pads, but I found that wiping it off with cotton pads and then patting it in with my hands helped me feel the moisturizing benefits more. As someone with dry skin, this was a great product that helped solve my dehydration issues!

The design is very pretty. *Fragrance and Moisturizing Fragrance is key, and I think this product will work well for me in that regard. I'm not a big fan of rose scents on the face, so I tried it on my body instead, and it was really amazing how my skin became smoother. It's hard to explain, but I washed my feet and then applied the serum generously on the cracked areas before going to sleep, and my feet became so silky smooth. The clean packaging and subtle rose scent are pleasing to me. When looking at the product description, I had the impression that it was a pure toner focused on fragrance, and the nice scent it provides does satisfy that. I can't stop sniffing it! The instructions say to absorb it thoroughly, so I used it as a moisturizing toner instead of just wiping it off, and I get the sense that it is providing good hydration. It's transparent, but when applied, it has an unexpectedly somewhat dense texture?

However, the sticky feeling when patting it in to absorb is a bit of an issue. Applying a moisturizer right after helps lessen it, but sometimes when it's really hot, I just want to use this and finish up later...(not that I should do that, but we all do that sometimes, right? Haha) It's not a soft, supple feeling, but more of a dense, drying sensation that leaves the skin feeling smoothly coated. (Unlike a tightening sensation...it just feels like there's something there?) I feel like I really need to apply a moisturizer right after. The scent is wonderful, but a bit disappointing.
Tip
I'd recommend keeping it in the bathroom and patting it on right after cleansing, followed by a hydrating cream. But then again, the lovely scent disappears once the cream is applied, so if there's a moisturizer in the same line with good hydration, I'd love to try that.
