My blemishes have calmed down a bit. Acne marks and scars have also slightly faded. It's moisturizing with good absorption, and it sinks in quickly. The gel-like emulsion has a cooling effect, making it feel great for oily skin types. 1. No exfoliating effect. I bought this hoping it would help with keratosis pilaris and body acne by exfoliating, but it barely did anything. My keratosis pilaris remains unchanged. I found out that the chemical exfoliants AHA, BHA, and PHA are only present at 0.001% each. AHA is known to be effective at 2-10%, and BHA at 0.5-2% for exfoliation, but the concentrations here are far too low. It's disappointing that they prominently feature AHA, BHA, and PHA in the product name when they're not even key ingredients. 2. Insufficient hydration. Given its lightweight formula, it lacks in moisturizing power. It's best to layer with a ceramide body emulsion. While it feels hydrating, its moisturizing ability isn't exceptional. It does calm acne somewhat, but not remarkably so. There's hardly any exfoliation. Overall, it's a rather mediocre product in many aspects. If you bought this emulsion for keratosis pilaris, you'll need to use it alongside a toner or cream containing AHA, BHA, or PHA ingredients to see any real improvement in those bumpy skin patches. - 9u********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 30, 2024
I had many concerns like enlarged pores and body acne, but with consistent use, I can visibly see them reducing. While the enlarged pores haven't completely disappeared, there's definitely a sense of improvement. There's not really anything to complain about, except perhaps that the hydration doesn't seem to last very long. However, I love that it's not sticky at all. - ba*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 14, 2024
I was looking for a body emulsion with exfoliating ingredients to address my keratosis pilaris, and this one seems to have the best formulation. It feels too lightweight, so I don't think it's moisturizing enough. I'm also not sure about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. I think it would be best to apply this after showering, and then layer a more hydrating body emulsion on top for better results. - so*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2022
As someone with extremely dry skin, this really helps clear up blemishes caused by dead skin cells. Although it's a body emulsion, I use it on my face too. I also use their separate blemish spot product, but this one works even better. Since it's labeled as low-irritation tested, I've been using it carefully, avoiding sensitive areas. Oh, and it's great for the body too - there's plenty in the bottle! I can't think of any downsides, there really aren't any!
