This formula is not thick but flows like water, allowing for a gentle rolling cleansing. When emulsifying, there is no thick or sticky feeling. Personally, I don't seem to get along with hyaluronic acid ingredients, and I'm not sure if it's because of that, olive oil, or acids, but since my skin is very sensitive, it's difficult to make an accurate judgment. In any case, it doesn't work for me. It gets itchy, reddened, and small bumps and pustules come up.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is great, but it seems to be causing small bumps on my skin. I'm not sure what product to switch to. It's disappointing that it seems to be causing small bumps. However, the cleansing effectiveness is still good. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2024
I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin! My T-zone and U-zone get quite oily, and I have large pores. Not just in those areas, but I also have small bumps on my forehead and cheeks. For an oil cleanser, this product feels lightweight and is pleasant to use. As many reviews mention, it emulsifies well. I bought this oil because I heard that even oily skin benefits from occasional deep cleansing with oil, and this one doesn't seem to have any particularly harmful ingredients. Overall, it seems to remove makeup well, but you'll need a separate eye makeup remover for point makeup! A double cleanse is absolutely necessary. When I used it after only applying sunscreen, it felt light and I thought it cleansed well after emulsifying and washing several times. However, when I finished with just this first cleanse, I immediately broke out. For sensitive combination dehydrated skin, it can cause more small bumps. It seems to dry out the cheek area, making the skin even more sensitive. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but because it emulsifies so well, you might think you can finish after just a few rinses. However, it's important to cleanse even more thoroughly with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2024
Removes makeup effectively. The scent isn't overpowering. The emulsification process works quite well. If you rush through the emulsification and water rinse even slightly, you'll wake up to a breakout of blemishes the next day. After cleansing, my face turns red, suggesting that while it has strong cleansing effectiveness, it might be too harsh on the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 9, 2024
It removes makeup incredibly well and really draws out sebum! Even stubborn sebum that had been stuck in my face for a month came out. My blackheads have also reduced a bit. Being an oil-based product, it seems unavoidable that it causes acne for those with oily skin. Even with a second cleanse using a mildly alkaline foam cleanser, breakouts still occur. I strongly advise against cleansing oils for those with oily skin. Absolutely avoid if you have blemish-prone skin! While it dissolves sebum, it can also clog pores, leading to more blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2023
I bought it on sale... It seemed to remove makeup well... My skin developed a rash and felt hot. I'm not sure what caused it... I was fine when I used Hada Labo emulsion before, and other cleansing oils didn't cause this reaction. Sigh.
