Pros
It's moisturizing and, most importantly, non-irritating. When my skin is sensitive, other products can cause flare-ups, but this one works well for me.
Cons
You need a prescription from a dermatologist, and it's expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it.

Pros
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to flare-ups with the wrong products, this emulsion is the only one that truly calms my skin. I've been loyal to it for 3 years now!
Cons
It's a bit challenging to use up all the emulsion, which feels wasteful. The packaging could be improved.
Tip
For winter dryness, mixing it with an oil-based product creates the perfect hydration balance.

Pros
This has become my holy grail product. My skin used to break out and get super dehydrated no matter what I used, but since discovering Aestura, my skin's overall health has improved dramatically.
Cons
There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. When winter comes, I just layer it with a richer cream.

Pros
What I could definitely feel while using this is that it's truly gentle. It's perfect as a moisturizer. While it doesn't necessarily make existing blemishes disappear, when your skin is acting up, using this seems to prevent further breakouts. It's suitable for acne-prone skin and would be excellent for dry skin types. The two key points - effective hydration and skin-friendly ingredients - make it worth purchasing. It certainly fulfills its role with just these two aspects!
Cons
Given its emulsion texture, it can feel a bit heavy if applied thickly before makeup. For daytime use, I'd recommend applying a thin layer before makeup. For nighttime use, especially in winter, layering it two or three times could be beneficial.

Pros
A soothing emulsion that calms the skin even when applied alone during breakouts or skin issues. It's a staple product... I keep it on hand even in summer when I don't use it often, just in case.
Cons
It feels a bit heavy for summer use. Is it slightly oily? I use it alongside the Theracne line for acne.
Tip
I keep this cream on hand and use it regularly.

It seems to have helped strengthen my skin barrier when my skin was acting up, and it applies smoothly
Cons
It's richer than I expected. As time passes, it feels like a lot of oil comes to the surface

Pros
As someone with dry skin, I never knew about inflammatory acne until I experienced folliculitis that turned my skin upside down. That's when I settled on this product. Now I use it alone about 4 days a week, and people compliment my skin wherever I go. I used to layer 5-6 products, but now? I feel reborn! While Aestura 365 Emulsion has a richer texture that might not suit oily or combination skin types, this product offers the perfect balance of hydration and moisture. In fall and winter, I layer it multiple times and only apply a richer cream around my eyes and mouth. In summer, I use it alone. It's not greasy at all, super gentle, and maintains the perfect oil-moisture balance. (My dermatologist recommended it, and honestly, when your skin's balance is off, this is all you need.)
Cons
The price...? That's probably the only drawback. Also, the fact that only the 365 Emulsion is available at Olive Young stores. You have to buy this specific product either from dermatology clinics or online, which makes it a bit less accessible.
Tip
In summer, use a cooling pad or light toner before applying this product alone. For fall and winter, protect the areas around your eyes and mouth with a richer cream.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I've found nothing quite like Atobarrier MD. It's my go-to product whenever my skin acts up!

Being an emulsion, it can sometimes feel like it evaporates quickly from the skin.

Pros
This emulsion is a lifesaver when my skin reacts badly to a face mask! It calms redness, soothes blemishes, and works wonders. It's become my holy grail emulsion. The texture is so smooth and absorbs well too!
Cons
It's a bit on the rich side, and looking at the ingredient list, I'm not thrilled with the formulation. I'm worried it might clog my pores and cause breakouts... Thankfully, I haven't experienced any blemishes yet.

Pros
I asked what they apply last at the dermatologist's office, and it turned out to be this! So I bought it and started using it. I've always had skin flare-ups during seasonal changes, but this year, with masks, stress, summer heat, and everything else combined, my skin barrier completely collapsed. My face was red and hot all day due to perioral dermatitis. Even my trusted skincare routine couldn't help me recover, and things kept getting worse, so I eventually started treatment at a dermatology clinic. When other products failed to help, Atobarrier seemed to make a big difference. Of course, I also had laser treatments, but before using this product, I didn't feel like the heat and redness were improving. After about a month of use, I saw a dramatic improvement. Being an MD product, I think it's perfect for those with damaged skin barriers.
Cons
It might be a bit heavy for oily skin types in the summer. Even now, it feels slightly rich, so I'm applying it sparingly.
