I've been using this product for over 2 years now! Due to severe redness on my face, I always use the 365 version for medical purposes instead of the cosmetic one, as it's designed for damaged skin. First off, Atobarrier itself is rich and moisturizing, making it an excellent soothing cream. When I apply it before bed, it significantly reduces redness by the next morning. I used to use Zeroid, which caused a slight tingling sensation, but with Atobarrier, there's no irritation at all, which I love. The cream has little beads in it, but you can't feel them at all when applying - it spreads perfectly! The only downside is that it disappears too quickly. Using it daily means I go through it pretty fast... If you have extremely dry and super sensitive skin, you absolutely must try this! I use it with the most affordable ultrasonic device, mixing it with aloe and massaging it on my face for about 5 minutes. I do this once a month, usually when my skin is particularly sensitive. When blemishes appear and cause increased redness, I use it this way for soothing purposes. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2024
I'm struggling with dermatitis, but this product alone is helping me get by. My skin has become super sensitive, and other skincare products sting, but this one is fine. It feels a bit dry with just one layer, but applying multiple layers works well. The price is a bit high. Oil tends to surface after some time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2023
Due to my skin inflammation and allergies, other products usually make my face sting, but this one doesn't. It's the only thing I use in winter. It feels a bit heavy on the skin. Also, the fact that you need a prescription to buy it? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinOct 21, 2023
As someone with typical dry, atopic skin that's always red, I often struggle to find suitable products, especially when my skin is at its worst - red and stinging. However, this product doesn't sting at all, even during severe flare-ups, and absorbs well. It's gentle enough to apply frequently without any concerns. The downside is the lack of a larger size option, which means having to repurchase often. While it absorbs quickly, the skin tends to feel dry again after a short while, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 19, 2023
Ever since I first used this for my atopic dermatitis, I've been consistently repurchasing it whenever I run out. I must have gone through over 10 tubes by now, mainly applying it to my face and neck. For my body, I use Atobarrier emulsion. Due to my atopic skin, products that don't suit me usually sting, but this one doesn't irritate at all and provides amazing hydration. Being fragrance-free, it's non-irritating, and it's incredible at instantly calming areas with dead skin cells. It does feel slightly rich and heavy, so in my case, I don't usually use it before makeup. I mostly apply it at home as a moisturizer throughout the day. After laser treatments like Fraxel, I was told to use a regenerating cream. I frequently applied this, and it was great - non-irritating and worked well for my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2023
Skin type: Extremely dry / Sensitive / Prone to redness I've been using this cream almost daily since I turned 20 The only product that doesn't sting, even when my skin is at its worst Not suitable for skin types other than extremely dry or dry due to excess oil Use a pea-sized amount in winter and a mung bean-sized amount in summer - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2023
My skin gets extremely dry and sensitive in winter, easily becoming irritated and prone to breakouts if I use the wrong products. This one, however, is completely non-irritating and almost fragrance-free. I apply it whenever my skin feels dry, and it's wonderfully hydrating without interfering with makeup application. It absorbs well and doesn't cause any pilling. I'll definitely keep repurchasing this. There wasn't a single thing I disliked about this product. I highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin and deep dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2022
I've tried countless emulsions on the market, but I haven't found anything as hydrating as Atobarrier MD. I can't imagine my skincare routine without it. As someone who often gets wounds due to atopic dermatitis, this product has been a godsend. It doesn't cause any tingling sensation, so I've been using it comfortably for years. Occasionally, its intense moisturizing effect can lead to a few blemishes, but that's really the only drawback I can think of. If I had to mention another con, it would be that it's not easily available in regular stores. I have extremely dry skin, so using cream alone doesn't provide enough hydration. My dermatologist recommended mixing the cream with an emulsion, and that works wonders for me! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 31, 2022
I bought this after getting a prescription from my dermatologist. I've been using it because it's supposed to be good for sensitive skin. It does feel a bit rich, but it doesn't cause any tingling sensation, which is great. I even apply it on my baby occasionally when their skin feels dry. It's quite expensive. I wish it were a bit more affordable... I guess that's because it's sold at dermatology clinics. After cleansing thoroughly, I apply a thin layer all over my face and body.
