It's great for the first step of removing full-face makeup, including eye makeup. As for potential blemishes, I can't confirm whether using this product alone prevents them, since I immediately use other products afterward.
ConsWhen using a cotton swab for delicate areas like around the eyes, the snap-on cap can cause the product to spill out too quickly. The full opening when you unscrew the cap isn't ideal for precise application. Also, it dries quickly after cleansing, so you need to follow up with another makeup remover or cleanser right away.
TipRecommended for the initial step of removing full-face makeup using cotton pads.

It's perfect for a light morning cleanse. Since I don't wear makeup, I couldn't test its makeup removal capabilities.
ConsDue to its water-based formula, it tends to drip onto my feet or clothes during use, which is a bit frustrating. I also noticed it seemed to cause some small bumps on my skin.

The formula is non-irritating to the skin. It leaves a refreshing feeling after use. Perfect for removing light makeup in one go. The large size means it'll last for quite a while.
ConsThe cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong. It can leave the skin feeling unexpectedly dry after use. Might be more suitable for seasons other than winter. If you need to use it multiple times for thorough cleansing, it could potentially irritate the skin. It doesn't effectively remove heavy makeup. Being a water-based formula, it tends to get used up quickly. The push-top lid design can sometimes lead to leakage.
TipFor more efficient use, try layering multiple cotton pads. This method allows you to cleanse a larger area with less product.

I tend to rub my eyes a lot, making the area sensitive, but this wasn't irritating in the slightest. It's also fragrance-free, so there's no harsh cosmetic smell. Absolutely no sense of irritation whatsoever. # Texture & Hydration While some cleansing waters have a gel-like consistency, North9's product has a completely watery texture. When I've only applied sunscreen, some cleansing waters can leave my skin feeling a bit tight, but this one felt so moisturizing that there was no tightness at all. # Cleansing Effectiveness I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so this gentle formula is perfect for daily use.
Cons# Cleansing Effectiveness It removes liquid eyeliner, mascara, and shimmer products well. However, it struggles with pencil eyeliner. You need to apply more pressure, which can cause irritation. # Texture & Packaging The formula is extremely runny. If you accidentally squeeze the bottle too hard... your entire counter might end up drenched. While other cleansing waters are also dispensed by squeezing, this one feels particularly fluid.
TipHighly recommended for those who wear light makeup daily! Not so much for those who use pencil eyeliners regularly.

My skin is thin and delicate, so it responds quickly to even the slightest irritation. That's why I'm very careful when choosing skincare products, always scrutinizing the ingredients list and avoiding products with potential irritants or allergens. I was pleased to see that North's Ca9 Cleansing Water doesn't contain any concerning or allergenic ingredients. After using it for a week, I'm thoroughly satisfied overall. One thing I really appreciate is its almost undetectable scent. Some cleansing waters from other brands can be overpowering, which I find uncomfortable for basic skincare and cleansing products. So, I'm definitely happy with the subtle fragrance. I'm also impressed by its excellent cleansing effectiveness. To be honest, I didn't expect much from a cleansing water, but I was surprised at how well it removed not just base makeup but also color cosmetics. It cleaned almost as thoroughly as a dedicated lip and eye makeup remover. While I don't usually wear mascara, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there, it removed eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lip products completely! Furthermore, it didn't dry out my skin. I didn't experience any tightness or irritation after use, even with my sensitive skin. It felt gentle and non-irritating. I highly recommend this product as it seems suitable for daily use across all skin types. I'm extremely satisfied with it.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked, but if I had to pick something, it would be the packaging. The wide opening makes it a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. If you're not careful, you might accidentally pour out too much. That's the only slight drawback I found.
TipTo use, saturate a cotton pad with the cleansing water and gently press it onto your skin. Hold it there for about 10 seconds, then softly wipe away. You'll be left with clean skin, free of makeup residue. There's no need to rub hard as it removes makeup effectively with gentle motions. This allows for a thorough cleanse without damaging your skin.

I came across this product while looking for a low pH cleanser for morning use. - Texture and characteristics: It has a watery consistency that flows easily. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable scent. When I applied it to a cotton pad and pressed it onto my skin, it seemed to create a slight lather. - Cleansing effectiveness: It exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect much due to my previous experiences with other cleansing waters. However, I decided to test it by using a cotton pad soaked with the product to remove lipstick, lip balm, and eyeshadow. With just a light swipe, it removed everything except the lipstick. The lipstick came off with a bit more pressure and a few more swipes. Although I initially intended to use it as a morning cleanser and wasn't too concerned about its makeup removal capabilities, it seems it would work well as a makeup cleanser too. I felt confident it could remove fine dust as claimed in the product description. - Skin feel: It wasn't irritating, and perhaps due to its watery texture and low pH, I didn't experience the dryness typically felt after using regular cleansing products. - Volume: Although it might be used up quickly due to its watery consistency, the 500ml bottle should last a while. This product seems perfect for days like now when I'm wearing just sunscreen more often than full makeup.
ConsPackaging: I'm satisfied with the product itself. However, due to the design of the bottle opening, it's difficult to control the amount dispensed, and it tends to pour out quickly, which is inconvenient. This wouldn't be an issue if using cotton pads, but I don't typically use them. I think a dropper-style dispenser might have been better.

Overall impression: - Seems like a well-crafted product, especially for blemish-prone or (extremely) super sensitive skin - The cleansing is thorough and refreshing, without feeling like it strips the skin's oil and moisture balance - The user experience is clean, leaving no slippery residue, which made me reach for it often - There might be a slight cooling effect too? - The 500ml size is very generous (I want to applaud this)
Cons- It stings a bit if it gets in your eyes. When I used it generously on a cotton pad, some dripped into my eyes. It's a bit painful, so everyone please be careful

Plus, the gentle ingredients make it great for daily use, even when you're not wearing makeup. It's perfect for that first step in removing dust and impurities from your face after being out!
ConsThe downside is that, being a cleansing water, it can be a bit tricky to use. It tends to run, making it awkward to dispense onto your hands. Using it with cotton pads leads to a lot of product being absorbed and wasted. Also, it struggles a bit with removing shimmery eyeshadows. Other than that, I didn't have any other complaints!

When I rubbed it between my fingers, it had a slightly oily feel, which made me think it would be effective at removing makeup. Cleansing effectiveness: I used to be skeptical about cleansing waters, thinking they wouldn't cleanse well because of their thin consistency. But I regret my past assumptions! This large-sized, cost-effective product has cleansing power that rivals any other cleansing product. Even my stubborn mascara, which is hard to remove even with oils or creams, was completely wiped away with this. Scent: The fragrance is mild and gentle, not irritating at all. It's so subtle you'll hardly notice it!
ConsWell, being a water-based product, it's a bit trickier to dispense and use compared to oils or creams. It tends to drip and run, which can be a bit messy.
TipSince it leaves a slightly oily residue, I recommend following up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse.
