Apply the eyeliner densely to the areas with mucous membranes.

I'm not sure if the brush is the problem, but the eyeliner that gets on the brush disappears quickly! So I have to keep applying it to fill in the mucous membrane.

I have no intention of repurchasing this. I bought it because the reviews were good, but I'm just satisfied with having tried it out as a gel-type eyeliner for the experience. It's difficult to fill in the waterline thoroughly (it may be an issue with my hand skills), and it tends to be drawn on too thickly and smudges easily.

I've been using this cost-effective eyeliner since my 20s. It has great staying power and is easy to apply. And of course, the price is unbeatable~

It's best to wipe down the brush with a makeup wipe right after using it!
Otherwise, the leftover gel can dry up and get crusty, making it harder to use next time.
And the best way I've found to prevent smudging is:
1. Apply an eye primer before (the Urban Decay one is great)
2. Lightly set it with powder after applying


The brush being a bit thicker does make it harder to create super thin eyeliner looks like with a brush-tip eyeliner.
And in the summer, there's a tiny bit of smudging, though it's still better than most gel eyeliners.
Smudging is kind of an inherent issue with gel eyeliners, but it's still a bit disappointing, which is why I took off one star :(

Unlike other gel eyeliners that have a separate brush, this one has an integrated brush, which makes it really convenient to carry around! 
The formula is easy to control, glides on smoothly, and the deep brown color looks much more natural than black.
Plus, it's much easier to apply than a brush-tip eyeliner!

Since it's a gel eyeliner, it dries up quickly if you don't wipe it off right away. So I'm wiping it off immediately with a wet wipe.

I apply the eyeliner and then set it with powder. You can just lightly tap the powder on top like you would for regular powder application. But since filling in the waterline is important for me, I use my pinky finger to gently swipe some powder just along the lash line, not letting it get into my eyes. That way, it stays put all day long.

It stays on my eyes all day without smudging or turning my eye area dark, but it doesn't have a perfect, long-lasting adhesion to the skin. While it lasts well overall, the central part of the waterline gets rubbed off a bit when I blink, and my oily skin seems to cause it to wear away.

I switched from using a pencil to using a gel.
When drawing the eyeliner, the gel really fills in the waterline well. Pencils can feel stiff and have trouble adhering to the oily waterline, but the gel applies so smoothly and evenly. The eyeliner also goes on much more softly and glides on effortlessly. The staying power is also great.
