Pros
It's the best. I switched from using a pencil to using a gel. When drawing the eyeliner, the gel really fills in the waterline well. Pencils can feel stiff and have trouble adhering to the oily waterline, but the gel applies so smoothly and evenly. The eyeliner also goes on much more softly and glides on effortlessly. The staying power is also great.
Cons
It stays on my eyes all day without smudging or turning my eye area dark, but it doesn't have a perfect, long-lasting adhesion to the skin. While it lasts well overall, the central part of the waterline gets rubbed off a bit when I blink, and my oily skin seems to cause it to wear away.
Tip
I apply the eyeliner and then set it with powder. You can just lightly tap the powder on top like you would for regular powder application. But since filling in the waterline is important for me, I use my pinky finger to gently swipe some powder just along the lash line, not letting it get into my eyes. That way, it stays put all day long.
