I have combination skin leaning towards dry, and I only use hybrid sunscreens. I can't use purely mineral sunscreens as they're too drying, and I've been using La Roche-Posay's Melt-In line for about a decade before switching to this. I go foundation-free and only apply sunscreen, and the skin finish is incredible. It feels a bit greasy when first applied, but when I check the mirror after arriving at work, my skin looks amazing. Since switching to this, I've received so many compliments on my skin! It's more hydrating than La Roche-Posay, so it might not work for those with oily skin. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must try this.
ConsThe eye irritation is intense! I usually apply sunscreen generously, so when I first applied this as usual... oh my, the pain! It hurt so much, like something had gotten into my eyes. I couldn't even imagine it was because of the sunscreen. I almost went to the eye doctor. The severe eye irritation made me avoid it for a while, but the skin finish is so beautiful that now I carefully apply it, avoiding the eye area.
TipApply less around the eyes, and just 30 minutes after application, you'll get that perfect skin glow! Highly recommended for those with dry skin who prefer to go foundation-free.

Absorbs well I've been using only matte sunscreens in summer, but it's been a while since I've tried a hydrating formula. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but I loved how it didn't leave my face feeling tight thanks to its moisturizing finish! 2. Fragrance To me, it was fragrance-free! I prefer products for my face to have either a very subtle scent or no scent at all, rather than strong or volatile fragrances. So I was really pleased that this one was unscented. 3. Ingredients All the sunscreens I've used before had at least one red flag in their ingredient list, but this is the first time I've used one with no caution notes at all. While my skin isn't particularly prone to blemishes and can handle most products, I felt reassured using this one due to its clean ingredient list. 4. No white cast For those who finish their skincare routine with sunscreen without applying makeup (like me), you might tend to use products that leave a white cast. But this one truly has no white cast at all! Personally, I dislike how products with white cast can leave a powdery residue on my eyebrows, so I used to avoid applying sunscreen there. Using a product without white cast is so much more convenient. I've decided to stick with white cast-free sunscreens from now on.
Cons1. Price...? Compared to other sunscreens with similar volume, gentle ingredients, and similar texture that are being released these days, this one feels just a tiiiny bit expensive... I'll probably check again when it goes on sale at places like Olive Young. 2. Initial application? Final feel? I mentioned above that it's hydrating, but when I first opened and applied the product, it felt really heavy. As someone who really dislikes products with a rich feel, I also felt it was a bit oily. Just in case, I tried it again the next day and the heavy feeling was gone. I'm not sure why, but I think the initial heavy finish might have come from its slightly oily nature.
TipThese days I've been watching touch-up makeup videos, and they apply hydrating sunscreens and then pat it in with a sponge as if they're wiping it off. I'd recommend trying this product if you always do touch-ups!

The scent is almost fragrance-free, which is great for these mask-wearing days as it doesn't cause any nausea or discomfort. There's minimal white cast, and when applied near the eyes, it doesn't cause any stinging sensation.
ConsThe non-drying aspect mentioned as a pro can also be a con. For my oily skin, it feels like there's a layer of oil sitting on my face. It also accentuates skin texture. The creamy texture makes it feel a bit uncomfortable under a mask. If you apply too much, there can be a slight white cast. Considering the price, the amount you get doesn't seem that generous, especially with so many cost-effective products on the market these days.
TipInstead of applying with your hands, using a sponge can reduce the rich feeling and help apply it more evenly.

It's great for those with deep dryness and pairs well with matte foundations. As I've been using Bioderma Cicabio successfully, I had high expectations for this - and I'm not disappointed! It truly delivers satisfaction!
ConsThe absorption could be better. It feels a bit thick when you first apply it, which is a bit disappointing. There's nothing particularly special or different about it compared to typical sunscreens.
TipRecommended for dry or combination dehydrated skin rather than oily skin types.

It has a moisturizing formula that absorbs well into the skin. I didn't experience any eye irritation. The applicator has a pointed tip, making it convenient to control the amount used. It's also suitable to use before makeup. My skin type is combination leaning towards dry. I don't experience much skin tightness, nor does my face get oily. I've never felt discomfort due to excess oil with any product I've used before. I'm very sensitive to eye irritation, so I always need to test chemical sunscreens. I've been using physical sunscreens for a long time because I dislike eye irritation, but with many physical sunscreens, I've found that makeup tends to separate or my skin feels congested as time passes. I've been trying various products to find the perfect sunscreen for me, but I haven't found the ideal one yet. This product is a moisturizing type of sunscreen. When applied, you feel a rich, hydrating sensation rather than just hydration. Given that it contains titanium oxide, it seems to be a hybrid sunscreen, but it feels closer to a chemical one. I didn't notice any white cast or brightening effect. It might feel heavy for oily skin types, especially in this season. I felt a bit of heaviness too. I have a habit of applying sunscreen generously, so when I used my usual amount, it felt like too much. My skin felt congested and my makeup pilled. When I reapplied with a smaller amount, it was much better. I've been using it daily for about ten days now, and so far, I haven't experienced any discomfort. I'm usually careful around my eyes due to sensitivity, but even when I applied it normally, it was fine. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. After application, there's a subtle glow and my skin feels moisturized. It adheres well with cushion foundations or liquid foundations, improving makeup longevity. Just remember to apply a thin layer before makeup.
ConsWhen I first used it before makeup and applied cushion foundation, there was some pilling. So I tried applying a smaller amount and smoothing it out with a sponge, which worked better. This might be due to the season - we've been having consistently hot and humid weather, which not only causes sweating but also raises skin temperature. I'll need to use it more during seasonal changes and other seasons to provide a more comprehensive review.
TipWhen using before makeup, if you do very light skincare and then use this product as both a moisturizer and sunscreen, it acts as a base and helps makeup last longer. In summer, when not wearing makeup and just using sunscreen, applying translucent powder on top works much better.

Even in summer, my skin gets so dry that it flakes occasionally. Previously, whether I applied sunscreen or foundation, everything would separate and pill. But this product is slightly better than the Dr. * Soothing Sunscreen. It doesn't just add a layer of oil on top; it moisturizes deep down, so when I go out wearing this, my skin doesn't feel tight at all. I think anyone who doesn't have extremely oily skin could comfortably use this in autumn. The squeeze tube opening is really convenient! There's a slight white cast, but it looks natural enough to work well as a base for makeup.
ConsThe absorption isn't the best. This isn't a holy grail sunscreen - they all apply a bit thick. However, it's not particularly inconvenient or noticeably harder to spread than others.
TipI unexpectedly found my go-to sunscreen thanks to winning it on Hwahae!
