As someone who usually struggles to find makeup that suits me (I have a pale to light complexion), I'm genuinely loving this product. It naturally elongates my eyes without any smudging. Even on hot, sweaty days when it might fade a bit, it does so gracefully - not in an unflattering way. A quick touch-up is all it takes to restore it. I honestly can't think of any downsides. I mean it. Just please don't discontinue it or even try to "improve" it with a new formula. This eyeliner seems to work hard for those of us with tricky skin tones. It enhances the complexion without looking unnatural, which is a godsend for people who find most makeup doesn't sit well on their skin. The staying power is impressive, even in challenging conditions, and it fades gracefully rather than leaving unsightly patches. It's a rare find that performs so well it doesn't need any improvements - a true holy grail product for many. - dl***********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
When I first bought this, I hardly wore any makeup and tried it as a "bare-face liner." I didn't realize it then, but now that I do my makeup to the point of wearing mascara, I always reach for this eyeliner. The color payoff is surprisingly good, and since I have monolids and hooded eyes, heavy eyeliner can make my eyes look cramped. If you have monolids, you really should try this. When I first used it, I didn't know much about makeup. After trying a Korean brand pencil liner and finding it too difficult, I immediately settled on this one. I thought a pencil might be easier to apply, but this turned out to be the real deal. It doesn't cause any blemishes, it's super comfortable to use, and it doesn't smudge easily. I love it so much. Seriously, if you have monolids, you absolutely must buy this. The reviewer emphasizes the product's suitability for those with monolids and hooded eyes, highlighting its ease of use compared to pencil liners. They also note its lasting power and comfort, making it an excellent choice for those new to eyeliner or those with specific eye shapes. - tm********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 5, 2025
The color payoff is great, with a subtle brown shade that's perfect for a natural look. I'm impressed by how long-lasting it is - even after being out all day, it stayed put! While it seems versatile enough for both cool and warm tones, I'd especially recommend this to those with warm undertones. I'd suggest this more for those who prefer lighter makeup looks rather than heavy ones. For those who like more dramatic makeup, it might be better suited as an eyeliner base to define your eye shape. Gently applying it to the inner corners of your eyes can create the illusion of wider-set eyes. It's also fantastic for extending your eyelid crease line! - bz********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 20, 2025
It's so natural, crazy cute, and just absolutely amazing! I'm honestly obsessed with how natural it looks. I've been showing it off to all my friends and practically forcing them to buy it. Now everyone in my circle is using it. Seriously, you've got to try this! The lid doesn't close properly, so I had to throw away two of them. My 30,000 won down the drain! - zb********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 18, 2025
Even if you make a mistake, it's easy to erase with a gentle touch of your finger. It sets over time, maintaining the look well. While it does come off with water, it really allows you to create a natural eye contour. I can't think of any particular downsides. The price is reasonable, and it's good enough to be worth buying. - le*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 13, 2025
This is it!! The natural eyeliner I've been searching for. It's absolutely gorgeous! There's nothing bad to say. It's truly ultra-ultra-ultra natural! The ultimate in natural looks! - ah******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
I love drawing subtle eyeliner for an innocent look, and I always wait until I finish my eyeliner completely. I bought this product because it was said to apply lightly from the start, and I've been using it well. It's great for drawing eyeliner or for softly defining the aegyo sal (under-eye puff). The disappointing thing about this eyeliner is that it peels off like a film after application, and the brush isn't precise enough, which is a bit frustrating. - a0**********Combination SkinDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 18, 2025
It's great for those who prefer a subtle makeup look. It really helps achieve that no-makeup makeup effect. I'm planning to buy it again when I run out. I've only used it a few times, but it's already not dispensing well. Apart from that issue, everything else about it is good. - gi******Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 26, 2025
Personal color: Deep undertone, cool-toned Skin shade: 17 True to its name 'Bare Face Liner', this product seems to offer a natural, subtle look that's long-lasting. While it appears as a light brown when swatched on the hand, it actually shows up as a slightly deeper brown when applied as an eyeliner. It's great not just as an eyeliner, but also perfect for those like me who prefer a more defined aegyo sal (under-eye fat). What I really appreciate is that it's not sticky, making it easy to correct any mistakes while applying. Key points: - Natural-looking - Long-lasting - Versatile: can be used as eyeliner and for aegyo sal - Not sticky, allowing for easy corrections One downside I noticed while using this product is that it tends to clump when applying. It's particularly frustrating when the end of the eyeliner clumps up. Also, for those with super sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend it as it occasionally caused redness and swelling when my skin was particularly sensitive. Key points: - Tends to clump - Not suitable for sensitive skin To prevent clumping and achieve a thin, beautiful eyeliner, try using a very thin and small cotton swab (available at Daiso) to clean up the end of the line after application. Also, to improve the staying power and color payoff, try dusting some powder on your eyelids before applying the liner. - su********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJan 10, 2025
- As someone who doesn't suit heavy makeup, I tried this natural-looking liner and was pleasantly surprised by how well it suited even a makeup novice like me. - While I've used pencil liners before, this was my first time trying this type. The light color applied so naturally that even someone like me, who's not great at makeup, found it easy to use. - I can't really think of any downsides during my experience with this product. - I highly recommend this to those who aren't skilled at applying makeup or don't suit heavy makeup looks!
