I lightly apply it as the final step in my skincare routine, and it works best when followed by facial rolling or gua sha. Being a bit lazy, I sometimes just apply it and do a quick roll later after finishing my business. It's an oil balm stick, so it doesn't fully absorb, but it doesn't feel heavy either. It's like a protective layer that stays on your skin. In the morning, you can still feel some of it there. Sleeping with this on means zero dryness, just nourishment and hydration. I always use it on days when my skin feels dry, and I truly feel like it's preventing wrinkles.
ConsIt's not the type that fully absorbs even after a long time, so it might transfer to your hair or pillow. However, this texture is what helps prevent wrinkles, so I wouldn't really call it a drawback.

I've been using the soap, toner, cream, and ampoule from this line, and this ampoule balm is a natural extension of the series. Being wax-free, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin even when applied generously. Despite its high oil content, it doesn't feel greasy either. However, due to years of raising my eyebrows, my forehead wrinkles are beyond repair, so I didn't notice any significant wrinkle reduction. On the positive side, it's easy to use, has great hydration, and despite containing herbal ingredients, it doesn't cause any blemishes. Due to its balm formulation and container design, there's quite a bit left inside even when it seems empty. If you dig it out, it lasts quite a while.
ConsI bought four, gave one to my sister, used one, and stored two for later use. After moving, I opened a new one and noticed a rancid oil smell. The expiration date is 2024, but the original pleasant herbal scent had changed to an oily odor. I checked the others and they were the same. When I contacted customer service, they gave a vague response saying that refrigeration helps maintain the fragrance (though the packaging only recommended, not required, refrigeration - I had kept it in a bookcase), and that while the product hasn't spoiled, I should test it on a small area to check for skin sensitivity. I was disappointed as I had considered this brand to be good at communicating with consumers. I've been using it on my face for a few days, but stopped due to the smell. I'm unsure whether to continue using it despite the odor or just throw it away. For those who've purchased the Black Sugar Goji Balm, make sure to store it in the refrigerator or a cool place.
TipI applied it as a final step after my cream, but I noticed on the website that they recommend applying the balm before the cream.
