The scent isn't as deep as Jo Malone's, it's a bit shallower and slightly artificial, so I couldn't finish the whole bottle. As a body emulsion, it's the type that cleanses thoroughly, and the lather is more sparse than dense. I'd recommend this if you want to get a feel for the basil product before trying the original.

While I understand that fragrance ingredients are common, I was surprised to find out it also contains colorants.
