I used this in my early 20s and it was so amazing that I had to write a review!! Though I'm currently using other products due to the high price, if money were no object, I'd exclusively use this shampoo - it's that good~! I have an oily scalp, and this shampoo was excellent at removing excess oil, impurities, and dead skin cells!! Plus, the cool herbal scent is absolutely divine!! The finish leaves your hair squeaky clean, so a conditioner or treatment is a must! The one star I deducted is for the price, unfortunately. It's just too expensive.......!! Also, it was a bit inconvenient that it doesn't come with a pump. - tp*******Combination SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2024
I've been using Rausch Anti-Dandruff shampoo and tried their Herbal Care line too! When you buy it during Olive Young's special sale, the price is quite reasonable, which is satisfying. In terms of cleansing effectiveness, it was great to alternate with the Anti-Dandruff version. I felt it worked particularly well on days when my scalp was more sensitive or the weather was dry. The scent is au naturel, by the way. As for the user experience, after the initial pre-wash, even a small amount produced a good level of lather. It also helped with scalp tightness and itching afterwards. Great for balancing oil and moisture! There was a bit of stiffness while rinsing, but it's not unbearable. I think it'll work well as a shampoo if you use a separate hair product. It doesn't make your hair softer. You should think of it as primarily for the scalp and consider it essential to use separate treatments, essences, or oils for your hair. Recommended for Rausch beginners too! Before shampooing, thoroughly wet your hair with lukewarm water. Then do a first shampoo, rinse lightly, follow with a second shampoo, and let it sit for a bit. - zi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 6, 2024
As someone with sensitive skin and scalp prone to seborrheic dermatitis, I've been using Rausch for years after hearing great things online. Even my hairstylist recommended it! If you have a sensitive scalp and are experiencing hair loss symptoms, I highly recommend this product. The quality ingredients have helped alleviate my hair loss issues. The scent isn't artificial or particularly pleasant, but it's not bad either - just a refreshing feeling when washing. The texture is thin, and while it doesn't lather much, its cleansing effectiveness is top-notch! After using perfumed shampoos, you'll notice the difference immediately - your scalp feels squeaky clean. Even a day after washing, my hair doesn't get greasy. It's truly a product I love! The price is a bit high for the volume, so I can't use it daily - only about 3 times a week. I wish they'd lower the price... If you don't use a conditioner with it, damaged hair can become a bit flyaway after drying. I strongly recommend using a conditioner with this shampoo. - gy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 29, 2023
Due to seasonal dandruff, I find myself using Rausch occasionally. It seems to be one of the gentler lines in the Rausch range. The scent also lingers quite nicely. While it does help with dandruff control to some extent, I think using it 2-3 times a week is most effective. Using it daily doesn't seem to yield better results. In fact, I feel that thoroughly rinsing and drying your hair is more crucial for scalp health than the shampoo itself. Considering the price, the effectiveness doesn't seem that impressive. The scalp itchiness tends to return after a short while. I used to have complete trust in and love for the Rausch line, but after using it for a while, I'm not sure about its effectiveness. It felt dramatic during the first couple of uses, but now... To avoid damaging your scalp, make sure to thoroughly rinse it with water and let it soak before shampooing. - to*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 12, 2022
Every time the seasons change, my scalp gets flaky and itchy, so I usually switch shampoos. I decided to try this one because it's said to be free of chemical ingredients. Many people reported that this shampoo was effective for seborrheic dermatitis, so I had high hopes for it personally! I feel like my scalp is gradually calming down, and the redness and irritation seem to be subsiding to some extent. A friend of mine who actually has seborrheic dermatitis is using it too, and they say they've definitely noticed a reduction in itchiness! While the long-term effects will only be clear with continued use, since this product contains almost no chemical ingredients, it doesn't lather as much as other shampoos. At first, when I switched from my usual shampoo that I was used to scrubbing with lots of foam, it felt a bit strange. - ys*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 3, 2022
I've been having issues with my scalp feeling tight for no reason and experiencing hair loss, so I was on the hunt for a new shampoo. I decided to try this one after it was recommended for sensitive scalps. The formula looks super hydrating due to its thin consistency, but I was surprised by how it actually leaves the hair feeling quite firm after use. The lather is rich, so a little goes a long way - very satisfying! I love the cool, refreshing herbal scent. Overall, it's a solid choice that doesn't seem to irritate my scalp at all. I'm considering repurchasing in the future. The bottle has a large opening, but the formula is very liquid-like. It just pours out uncontrollably. It's hard to control how much you use, so I end up using more than necessary, which is wasteful. - yu************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2022
As someone with a dry scalp, hair that easily gets greasy, lots of dead skin cells, and frequent scalp blemishes, I found this shampoo quite satisfying. I shower twice daily, so I was looking for a hydrating shampoo for my evening routine rather than one that strips oils. This product really delivered on that front. It tamed my frizzy, fluffy hair beautifully. Hydration: It was truly impressive in this aspect. It calmed my flyaways and frizz effectively. Texture: While it felt a bit stiff during washing, my hair became incredibly soft after drying (without using any conditioner). Oil control: Given it's for dry, sensitive scalps, it does get greasy a bit quicker than my usual morning shampoos. However, it removed excess oil better than I expected. Scent: It has an earthy, herbal aroma. Not unpleasant at all. Cleansing power: It was average. Lather: It produces a rich, sufficient lather. Soothing effect: I was extremely satisfied with this! My scalp is super sensitive and prone to issues with even minor stress, but this shampoo really helped calm it down. Dead skin cells: Being a hydration-rich product, it also effectively minimized flaking. Price: It's quite expensive for the amount you get. Packaging: The container is very inconvenient... it's difficult to control how much product comes out. Leaving it on for about a minute seems to help the active ingredients absorb better.
