-There is almost no oiliness. -It absorbs quickly. -There is no stickiness. The moisturizing effect was a bit lacking. - lo*****Combination SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 20, 2025
Absorbs well: It applies smoothly without any stickiness, making it perfect for summer use. Absorption: Unlike some products that can feel sticky or take time to absorb, this one sinks in quickly. Just a few gentle strokes and pats, and it's absorbed beautifully. Recommended skin type: Seems suitable for all skin types. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I'll likely repurchase it. Highly recommended for both children and adults! - gl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 16, 2025
Though it's for babies, adults love it too. It's fantastic! Absorbs quickly, keeps skin hydrated, and I've been using it for 10 years. To be honest, I've tried other body emulsions, but I always come back to this one. Caution for those sensitive to fragrances~ I personally like it, smells like Johnson's Baby lotion! You can apply it generously, it absorbs well into the skin quickly. - eg****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 15, 2025
My body skin is somewhere between slightly dry and normal. Among Johnson's Baby emulsion lines, I find the Soothing Natural Nourishing Emulsion has the most delightful scent. It's like being in a forest - so fresh! And most importantly for me, does it have that baby formula smell? Yes, it does. The scent is soft and comforting. There's a subtle hint of sweetness, like a spoonful of sugar in warm milk. Both the absorption and application are excellent. There are no downsides. I really hope they don't reformulate this and keep selling it as is. Here's my personal beauty hack! If you apply Biore Milk Protein Emulsion first, then layer Johnson's Baby Soothing Natural Nourishing Emulsion on top, you'll get a subtle, sweet yogurt scent wafting around you! It works hard to keep your skin feeling great. - ha***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 10, 2025
The scent is absolutely delightful, and being a soothing emulsion, it applies without any stickiness, which I love. Personally, I'd describe the fragrance as reminiscent of melon - it's quite refreshing! It's a bit disappointing that it's not entirely free of potentially harmful ingredients, but the lovely scent still persuaded me to purchase it. However, the hydration doesn't last as long as I'd hoped. For the winter months when your skin craves extra moisture, you might want to consider switching to a product with more intense hydrating properties. - li*****Combination SkinJan 30, 2025
The hydrating formula applies smoothly and absorbs instantly into the skin. When I tried it on my baby, our postpartum caregiver advised against using it due to the overpowering fragrance. It's even strong for adults. While I'm sure the ingredients are deemed safe, it contains phenoxyethanol, so I don't recommend it for babies or pregnant women. - is****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2025
I'm satisfied with the fragrance and hydration. We've been using it consistently even as my child entered elementary school. I can't think of any particular downsides. I'm satisfied since there are no blemishes. - op******Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 23, 2024
Great value for money and absorbs well. Has an emulsion-like feel. It completely cleared up my baby's heat rash. The fragrance makes me a bit hesitant to apply it on my baby, even though it's a pleasant scent. - ou***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 5, 2024
* Scent: I was most curious about this, as people said it smells like cucumber melon. Finally tried it, and it has a strong cherry jubilee ice cream + powder scent. For a Johnson's product, the fragrance lingers quite long. * Hydration: It's more moisturizing than the original Johnson's. Though the yellow version is gone, this one has better hydration. * Texture: It feels silky smooth without any stickiness. The purple one seems slightly thicker, but it has a gel-cream texture that absorbs well. I miss the old yellow version. Don't know why they discontinued it. Please bring it back! That was the signature scent of Johnson's, such a shame! It's in a similar fragrance family as Lolita Lempicka, but with a stronger cherry note. Layering them might make the scent last even longer. That being said, it's not a headache-inducing fragrance. - sk***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 6, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin that's more on the oily side, and I usually get 2-3 blemishes every week when my skin isn't in great condition. My forehead and nose especially tend to overproduce oil, sometimes even looking a bit greasy. I've tried many hydrating creams, but they were often quite pricey. That's when I discovered this Baby Emulsion. It has no harmful ingredients, and since it's made for babies, I decided to give it a try on my face. The scent is a mix of melon and baby powder. What's fascinating is how it feels when applied - it's moisturizing at first, but once it's fully absorbed, my skin feels incredibly soft and powdery! It's perfect for those with oily skin who dislike sticky or overly rich products. Throughout my use, I haven't experienced any blemishes, and it's very gentle on the skin. I highly recommend this for those with oily skin types! As long as it doesn't cause any issues for my skin, I think I'll stick with this cream instead of the popular ones sold at Olive Young. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin, as the finish is quite powdery. True to its name, it's a soothing emulsion, but it feels very light for an emulsion. A small amount, about the size of a 10-won coin, is sufficient for application.
