I purchased this product while searching for a cleansing oil. I bought it along with the Blooming Peony Cleansing Oil from the same manufacturer. *I purchased it because it was said to help remove sebum among the various cleansing oils. *While it doesn't immediately extract sebum like granules, the amount visible continues to decrease with continued use. *It effectively dissolves makeup. It removes mascara and foundation residue completely with just one cleanse. *Among cleansing oils, some can cause redness and irritation with prolonged massaging, but this product did not irritate my skin even with continued use. *The emulsification happens quickly and easily.
