I already own 4 different colors of it. To cut to the chase, I am extremely satisfied with it! I will definitely buy it again when a new shade is released. It has the glossy, balm-like texture that is currently trending. Compared to color balms, the color payoff is much more intense, on par with regular lipsticks. Yet, it applies as smoothly and comfortably as a lip balm. Comparing it to the Rom&nd Melting Bomb, the Rom&nd one is significantly more sticky. The Rom&nd has a very tacky, clingy feel, which is not my personal preference. This product, on the other hand, has an oily, silky smooth application. The Weimeike Glaze Stick is less sticky than the Rom&nd, applying more smoothly and evenly. But the Lipmonster is even less sticky than that. The product most similar in application is the Japanese Opera Lip Tint. It has an almost completely non-sticky, sleek glide. And the formula is a solid type, not a semi-liquid that can get messy, which is more convenient. The advantage the Lipmonster has over Opera is the color longevity and staining power. The smooth balm-like feel is comfortable, but the color tends to fade quickly. But the Lipmonster's color lasts a long time! The color payoff is also very precise, with noticeable staining. Though if you don't clean up the lip line occasionally, it can start to look a bit messy. I used the shade 01 Clump of Desire, which is a cool-toned pink with a hint of cherry. One swipe gives a light, sheer wash of color, while two or more builds up to an intense, vibrant look. The first swatch photo is under indoor lighting, and the second is in natural daylight. For daily wear, shades 1 to 3 would all be great options. 1 is a cool pink, 2 is a warmer coral pink, and 3 is a nudey beige pink - all three are lovely and appealing in their own ways. The packaging is a bit plain and the price is not super cheap, but I'm extremely satisfied with the formula. It applies so comfortably without any heaviness, has amazing color payoff, and a natural, smooth glossiness (not as intense as a high-shine gloss, but still very pretty). This is a lip product I reach for very often.
ConsThe packages are just all black, so it's hard to distinguish the colors if there are multiple. The color names are also written very small on the bottom, haha.
