Woody, especially the Hinoki scent, is good, and it's okay if the lather is a little less - go with Hinoki rather than basil..

There was no trouble when I used Hinoki, but this one gave me scalp pimples.. After using this for a few months, my hair became too itchy, so I can't use it as a daily shampoo. Those with oily scalps or seborrheic dermatitis should take note. I have both, and this product just doesn't agree with my scalp, whether it's due to insufficient cleansing power or an issue with the surfactants.

I really liked the fragrance of the Labo Hinoki shampoo and used it well, but I wanted to try a new fragrance, so I bought it. The fresh basil scent is good, but it's not as distinctive as the Hinoki scent, which is a bit disappointing. The fragrance is more like a slightly better-smelling shampoo from Olive Young than a niche perfume brand shampoo. However, the basil creates much more lather than the Hinoki.
