This formula offers a balanced composition for dry skin types lacking both moisture and oil. ✓ Price As a cream enthusiast trying salmon cream for the first time, I picked this up during a previous Olive Young sale. The price-to-volume ratio is quite reasonable (100ml), and it's even better when on sale! ✓ Texture As you can see, it has a rich, bouncy texture with a slight oiliness and good hydration. It absorbs into the skin with a satisfying plumpness. ✓ Tube Packaging While jars have their merits, nothing beats the convenience of a tube! It's easy to use and hygienic. As someone with dry skin that tends to flake in winter due to heating and cold winds, this alone might not be quite enough for perfect winter protection. However, I'm quite pleased with it overall. The rich texture might not suit oily skin types. I recommend adding a serum before this cream. This is my absolute favorite cream - I've gone through over 10 jars! It's completely non-irritating even when my skin is acting up, and I feel uneasy without it in my routine! Application & Absorption This Centella cream has an excellent texture. It's slightly sticky, which actually helps it spread better! As for absorption, wow... I've often felt suffocated after applying creams, but this one feels hydrating without being heavy. It's like giving water to thirsty skin! The moisture level is incredible. Quantity It comes in a tube that's neither too big nor too small. Easy to squeeze out, and it doesn't leak when you open the cap. I initially thought the amount was small, but I ended up using one tube for a really long time. Blemishes I have combination dehydrated skin with lots of small bumps and uneven texture. I also suffer from deep dryness and redness. After using this cream, my redness has significantly reduced, and most importantly, those small bumps have diminished. The excellent hydration definitely helped smooth out my skin. I always apply it generously before bed, like an overnight mask. The next morning, my skin feels soft and smooth! The price is quite steep... You need to stock up during sales! Also, while I didn't feel like I was running out quickly during regular use, it does get used up fast on days when I use it as an overnight mask or apply it generously. Try applying it generously on your face before bed, like an overnight mask! Your skin condition will improve by the next morning! It's also great to use as a moisturizer after exfoliating or removing dead skin cells. Applying a modeling mask after this cream works wonders... After using this, my tiny blemishes completely disappeared! And compared to my usual soothing gel, this seems to have eliminated my deep dryness. Nothing particularly bad to mention... It's not overly rich, which is great. I think I'll stick to this as my go-to moisturizer from now on.

I've been dealing with atopic skin since childhood. There are probably more ingredients that don't work for me than those that do! Pros: 1) I have a salmon allergy, and a friend gifted me this product, not knowing about my allergy. After eyeing it for months, considering it was a thoughtful gift for my severe atopic skin, I decided to try it on an inflamed patch on my inner arm. You know how it is with atopic skin - it usually flares up red at first. 2) But after about a week of consistent use, I noticed the redness occurring less frequently. The itching subsided, and the dark patches started to fade. I expanded use to my ears, nape, and eventually my whole body. This became my only moisturizer and was truly a champion in soothing my skin. 3) The texture is unique - it's like a modeling mask mix, with a stretchy consistency, but much more fluid. 4) If you apply a lot, it can feel sticky, but it absorbs completely with continued patting. However, it's best to use a moderate amount. Once absorbed, it leaves the skin smooth and soft. It creates a sort of coating on the skin, but not a suffocating one - more like a bouncy, breathable film. 5) The feeling after it's settled is like my skin is premium beef wrapped in a thin, breathable film. (What a strange comparison, but that's how it feels!) 6) Of all the creams I've tried claiming to strengthen the skin barrier, this one gave me the most noticeable results. You really have to try it yourself - my rambling description can't do justice to its unique texture and feel. Just buy it and try it, you won't regret it! If you don't like it, sell it to me! Whenever I feel my skin condition worsening or sense a breakout coming, this product comes to the rescue. And if I have a wedding to attend the next day? I always apply this before bed. Love it! I'm sharing photos of my legs with atopic dermatitis - they weren't pretty! I'm also including a photo showing the remaining scars, though it's mostly healed now. While it might not be cost-effective for full-body application, my condition was severe at the time, as you can see in the photos. My face was okay, though. I'm doing much better now! Worried about using too much on your body? Here are some tips: 1) After showering, don't dry off completely. Leave your skin slightly damp. 2) Squeeze out an amount about the size of a quarter, dot it on the most affected areas first, then spread it over your entire body. This allows you to cover your whole body with a small amount. 3) If you need extra hydration, put some Salmon Caring Centella Toner in a spray bottle and mist it on. It feels like a regular moisturizer... When used at night, it's okay-ish. Probably not a bad choice for nighttime use. Absolutely do not apply this before makeup! Your makeup will pill and slide off completely, like it's dirt. Even after it's fully absorbed, it makes your skin flake and causes terrible pilling... I was tempted to buy this cream when I heard it contains salmon roe extract and has a bouncy texture. I think it's my first time trying a cream with salmon roe! The cream's texture is really bouncy and fascinating! It's also fragrance-free, which makes it so pleasant to apply. With centella asiatica leaf water and madecassoside in the formula, it gives a soothing feeling to the skin. I can see why it's so popular! The downside is that the price seems a bit steep for the amount you get. I wish they would offer more discounts!
