I've been using this for about 5 days as part of the Hwahae Testers program! First, a word of caution: This product contains tea tree oil, so it's absolutely not recommended if your skin doesn't agree with tea tree oil! However, if your skin loves tea tree oil, I strongly recommend it. Just make sure it suits your skin type. I've had sensitive skin since childhood and have always dealt with atopic dermatitis. I've heard it runs in the family... (That's why I also struggle with asthma and allergies ㅠㅠ) Before trying this product, I was using a 100% tea tree oil for acne care, which I loved. That's why I applied for this. I've seen many spray-type products, but this roller type was new to me, so I was intrigued. When applied to areas with inflammation (reddened areas) or blemishes (limited to dryness-related issues), you immediately feel the tea tree effect. But unlike pure tea tree oil, which can be quite intense, this feels more like a mild mint sensation. And this sensation mostly disappears within 5 minutes! It seemed perfect for instant cooling on inflamed areas. The scent is herbal - you know that 'herbal' scent often mentioned in cosmetic reviews (some call it 'hanbang' or traditional medicine scent)... It's a mix of that and tea tree. The fragrance might be divisive, but it felt like it came from the natural ingredients rather than added perfumes. I personally love herbal scents, so I enjoyed it! Unlike spray types that can end up in unwanted areas, I loved that I could apply this precisely where I needed cooling! If the price is reasonable when I check later, I'd consider purchasing it after finishing this tester product.
Cons1. Amount control The liquid comes out as the ball rolls, like a ballpoint pen. Sometimes more than desired comes out and drips. This aspect could use some improvement. When this happens, I apply it vertically instead of horizontally. This way, I can use the amount that's already come out on the ball, which works well. 2. The ball is too large for small areas It was a bit difficult to apply in narrow areas like between fingers. For these parts, I'd let a small amount seep out and then spread it with a cotton pad or swab.
TipThere's not much else to add. To be honest, even dermatologists don't have many solutions for atopic dermatitis beyond steroids... And steroids can't be used continuously, plus they only suppress symptoms rather than cure them, so the condition flares up again when you stop using them. ^^;; That's why it's important to strengthen the skin barrier and keep it moisturized with products like this, to help the skin heal naturally from atopic dermatitis and eczema. Well, that's all for now!
