The case is luxurious and beautiful. There's a certain joy that comes with the brand logo. I wonder if it's really worth paying this price... It's not particularly special. - rn*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2023
It makes my skin look great. Even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. The color is pretty and it provides decent coverage. Since it's a moisturizing product, my hair tends to stick to my face when it's windy. But it's a trade-off I'm willing to accept. - su***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2023
I bought this product after watching a foundation review by a YouTuber. As a shade 23 user, I skipped the in-store purchase and snagged it online for 130,000 won with coupons. Phew, it's pricey for a cushion, isn't it? I'm justifying the cost by focusing on the refill option. I've already used up one and am now using the refill. I love how it makes my skin look naturally good, as if I've always had great skin. Perhaps due to the La Mer skincare ingredients, it doesn't feel drying at all. I didn't experience any creasing around my eyes or smile lines. For a department store cushion, it offers decent coverage, but don't expect too much in that department. If you're looking for skincare benefits and evening out your complexion without heavy coverage, this is for you. However, if coverage is your top priority, you might want to look elsewhere. The price is pretty wicked. The coverage is on the lighter side. It doesn't cover the freckles on my butterfly zone. A concealer is a must! The case is pretty in pink gold, but it gets scratched up like crazy even when it's in your makeup pouch. It's good, I'll give it that. - pr******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2023
I decided to buy this after testing it out thanks to a friend who uses it. Complexion: I have yellowish skin with quite a bit of redness, but this shade adhered beautifully. It was the main reason I decided to purchase it. The staying power isn't bad either. I applied it before going out for a barbecue dinner, and it gave me a nice glow while effectively covering my redness. Decent Longevity: Despite being quite hydrating, it had surprisingly good staying power. However, due to its moisturizing nature, you should avoid rubbing your face or wearing a mask for long periods. It didn't darken my skin tone much. Price Point (Brand): I hesitated initially due to the price. Even though I've used Armani and Givenchy cushions before, this still felt expensive. If it weren't for the color match, I might have reconsidered buying. A point that could be seen as both a pro and a con, but for me leaned more towards a con - despite the high price, the brand isn't very well-known. When I mention the price, people tend to react with 'Really? Is it worth it?' Kind of hurtful, haha. Heaviness: For a hydrating product, it felt quite heavy on the skin. This might contribute to its decent staying power, but... being both moisturizing and heavy means you need to be careful with how much you apply. The provided puff adheres to the skin better than other puffs. The downside is that the puff absorbs a lot of product, so you need to wash it once a week. - ki******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 14, 2023
My complexion is tricky, so I tested this at the department store before buying. Once outside, I realized how flattering the store lighting was! First off, it's incredibly hydrating. It transfers onto my mask every time I wear one. While darkening over time is inevitable, La Mer's darkening seems a bit more pronounced. Still, this could be due to my skin tone, and I've heard it works wonders for others who find it suits them well. The price is the biggest drawback. And the case gets scratched up like crazy. That's my only real complaint.
