It absorbs quickly, but occasionally my makeup pills like it's removing dead skin. I'm still testing to figure out why this happens. The texture is more like a sun milk than a sun gel, so it can potentially cause pilling. I used this as a sunscreen for my body and loved how smoothly it applied and absorbed without feeling sticky! Since I didn't try it on my face, I can't think of any downsides.

Oh, and it absorbs well too, so that's two. Wait, aren't those the same thing...? I've had great experiences with this brand's ampoules, so I had high hopes for their sun protection product. Maybe my expectations were too high, because personally, I found this sunscreen disappointing. While it's initially moisturizing, which is nice, the oiliness surfaces far too quickly. This was my first time trying a sun gel, so I'm not sure if it's just the formulation, but when I applied foundation over it, it pilled badly. It seems this product just doesn't agree with my skin. To top it off, it left me with a parting gift of tiny blemishes all over. Well, at least it was... an educational experience.
