Dior Forever Glow Cushion, Armani To Go Cushion: Dislike the forced coating glow, good adherence but dry with emphasized dead skin cells, so I don't reach for them

Chanel Les Beiges, La Mer Cushion: Initially pretty glow, but over time oil emerges excessively and the glow becomes overwhelming, so I don't reach for them

1. Whitish Color
While N01 is a beautiful shade for those who use 21, it has a strong white base.
No darkening, but face can look slightly pale.

2. Low Adherence
Not an easy cushion to use. Need to apply carefully in small amounts.
Thin texture and oiliness make it very dependent on skincare. Light and fresh skincare seems best for longevity.

3. Clumping Issue
Oily skin types might be bothered by product clumping around pores!

4. Blemishes
I've tried Oera Glow Cushion, Sun Cushion, and Calibrator, but none suit me. This severe reaction is a first and shocking. I develop dermatitis. Those with sensitive skin should absolutely patch test first.

Despite these drawbacks...
The skin finish and lightweight feel... It's still to my liking...
If not for the blemishes, I'd want to use it in fall and winter. What a shame.

- Initially feels light and smooth, but oil emerges over time
- Despite disliking oiliness, this is forgivable as it's not heavy or sticky. Looks like well-cared-for skin. Thin texture keeps it lightweight
- Oil blotting necessary!! Gets messy otherwise
- Difficult to use in hot weather
- Generally maintains a smooth appearance without emphasizing texture
- ⚠️However, powder particles clump in oily areas like pores and sides of nose. Pores visible around philtrum..?
- ⚠️No darkening, but as the formula dries, a slight white cast appears due to fine powdery finish + white pigments. Initially clear and bright, but can look cakey over time

Depending on the skincare products used beforehand, this cushion sometimes pilled or clumped a bit, and its adherence to the skin wasn't the best. When the formula shifted, it left white residue along the hairline, requiring me to wipe it off and reapply. It also left quite a few marks from hair brushing against it, and sometimes I noticed white spots appearing around the pores over time.

While my skin didn't feel dry after extended wear, there was a slightly heavy finish when I first applied it and went out.

After 3-4 hours, the skin looked even better than when first applied - it had a soft-focus effect that blended naturally with skin oils, creating a beautifully radiant complexion.

For touch-ups, I just lightly pressed the areas that needed it with a clean part of the puff, without adding more product.

Most areas were fine, but the formula tended to disappear around the sides of the nose. When touching up, I had to gently wipe with a pad and reapply coverage to avoid a heavy look.

This cushion requires good compatibility with your skincare to prevent pilling or clumping, which made it a bit challenging for me to use.

Some days my skin looked amazing with this, but other days it would pill, clump, and be difficult to apply no matter what I did, so I didn't reach for it often.

I'd recommend this cushion for those with dry skin who have a clear complexion, enjoy natural coverage and an elegant glow, and aren't sensitive to transfer or imprint issues.

It was a cushion that seemed good but not quite right for me - I found it challenging to use.

This cushion kept my skin moisturized without drying it out. It's a semi-glow type that works well for both dry and combination dehydrated skin. However, if you tend to get oily in the T-zone, you might need to set it with powder to prevent it from coming off. For those with dry skin, you can probably use it comfortably without powder.

As it applies smoothly and lightly, the coverage is practically non-existent (on par with or less than sunscreen). While it's moisturizing, it's not suitable for oily skin. You might feel like the product is melting off with your natural oils. Only recommended for combination to dry skin types. The product seems to spoil easily at room temperature. Even when I used drugstore cushions, it wasn't like this - despite the summer heat, after carrying it in my bag and using it only a few times, the contents started to smell off. I recommend keeping it in a cool place. It looked so good during testing that I bought several, but after trying one, it didn't suit me at all, so I gave the rest to friends who prefer a natural, barely-there makeup look.

When you want a light and transparent tone correction that looks like you're not wearing makeup, this makes your skin look naturally better, as if it's your own. It's incredibly lightweight and hydrating.

- The clean white packaging has a good grip, but doesn't feel very luxurious considering the price point
