The small mini size doesn't take up much space in my makeup pouch! It covers shadows like freckles and blemishes pretty well. The price is really affordable and you get a lot of product. There's a variety of shades to match different complexions. I used to use a warmer shade than Ice Beige, but this product is perfect for my warm undertone! If you apply it too thickly, your makeup can really look cakey! The concealer adheres well and can even be used as a highlighter. Almost everything from The SAEM is great, so it's a win-win! There's a slight darkening effect over time, which can make dark circles more noticeable. The coverage is truly excellent. It conceals all the areas you want to hide. If you can find the right shade match, it would be perfect. As someone who doesn't usually wear much makeup, I bought this to try and cover my dark circles a bit, but it's too challenging to use...

When mixed with foundation in the right ratio, it makes your skin look fair and radiant. Usually, I don't use it alone but mix it with foundation. You need to get the ratio right for it to settle well into the pores without pilling. The color is difficult to use on its own. Perfect concealer for shade 17 skin tone. Haven't seen a brighter concealer among drugstore brands. Great coverage and a creamy, moisturizing texture for its price. Using this alone can wreak havoc on your skin. You must apply a tiny amount with a brush to avoid skin irritation. Never apply it thickly or directly around the mouth area, or your skin will become a disaster. First, cover with cushion foundation, then use a brush to apply the tiniest amount of this concealer. I have fairly bright skin, and I settled on this product while searching for a concealer shade that matches my complexion. I often use this to brighten my nose area or cover various imperfections. The generous amount means it'll last a long time. The shade is just light enough that it can double as a highlighter. I'd recommend this for those with shade 17 complexion. It's matte, so it can look dry or cakey if applied too thickly. When I used concealer on blemishes before, the surrounding area would often flake or dry out. However, The SAEM concealer provides a matte finish without emphasizing dead skin cells. It offers good coverage, and with its SPF, it seems to provide extra protection for spots from sunlight. Shade 1.25 is slightly darker than my skin tone, perfect for covering dark spots, while 0.5 is a bit lighter, making it great for under-eye areas and as a highlighter for the nose. I love that it comes in two sizes! There's nothing particularly bad to mention. Even with dark circles, the light color makes them less noticeable... The shade seems well-balanced, not dull at all. It's also appropriately dry - just the right level of dryness to adhere closely to the skin. I bought this to brighten my under-eye area by applying a thin layer over another concealer that covers my dark circles. If you have a bit of skill with a brush, it shouldn't cake up, so I'm satisfied. The compact size is great too. These days, instead of carrying a cushion for touch-ups, I just bring this product and a small puff - so convenient! It's just as drying as other concealers, so you really need to moisturize well. On days when I skimp on hydration, I can feel the skin under my eyes tightening.
