I own many Rom&nd lip products because they're so popular. This time I tried the musky shade. It's quite intense, so I mainly use it for gradients. The deep, alluring color really appeals to me. The color payoff is insane! When you apply it as a base and add it as an accent inside, it creates such a beautiful lip look. It's just too pretty! When worn alone, it has a pinkish hue, but it blends well with any base color you choose. Just buy it, you won't regret it! The colors always work harmoniously together. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and it applies so smoothly. I love the soft, velvety finish it leaves on my lips. Unfortunately, the staying power on my lips was really poor. This lip product gives a radiant cool-toned look, and when you add a touch of it, it transforms into a truly beautiful coral hue. While it's a pretty warm-toned red on its own, if you've accidentally applied a cool-toned pink lip color, gently dabbing this on with your finger can instantly revive your look. It has a unique chili-coral tint that's strangely captivating. There might be a bit of transfer? It's not severe, but some people might find it bothersome. The staying power is fantastic! I bought it because the design is so pretty, and I absolutely love the color too. I thought it would be flawless because the staying power is so good, but while it's fine at first, it stains my lips way too much after application. It looks beautiful when you apply a base lip product first and then just use this on the inner part of your lips.

The color payoff is great. It's extremely matte and applies quite thickly, so you'll want to apply it gently. Since my lips tend to be dry, it feels very matte to me. True to its name, it really plumps up the lips! For someone like me, a full lip application might be too much, but it's perfect as an accent. It's better suited for special outings rather than everyday wear. Since I bought this without knowing my exact undertone, it didn't quite suit me. What's disappointing is that it doesn't smudge well, which is both a pro and a con. Also, if applied incorrectly, it can look a bit dated. I think it works well as an accent lip color. It might be a bit overwhelming for a full lip application though.
