I used to use this product a long time ago, and after trying out some new cleansing foams, I've come back to this one. While its cleansing effectiveness isn't extraordinary, for someone like me who only wears sunscreen, it's more than adequate. I'd recommend this to those who don't like that squeaky-clean feeling after washing and prefer a foam that leaves your skin feeling hydrated. Some might not like the slightly slippery feeling after rinsing, as if it hasn't been fully washed off. Personally, I'm satisfied with it. Recommended for dry skin and combination dehydrated skin. There are no drawbacks. Really, there's nothing to complain about. I can't think of a single negative point. Absolutely nothing. It's genuinely moisturizing, which I love, and the cleansing effectiveness isn't bad at all! It also produces plenty of foam~! If you're looking for a mild and hydrating product among low pH cleansers, this one might be perfect for you! I bought it as part of a set, and it was definitely a good choice. This cleansing foam focuses on hydration, effectively cleansing without causing deep dryness. It's gentle enough that I didn't experience any new blemishes while using it. There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it doesn't have any special skin-improving effects. I had no idea it was mildly acidic until I looked it up. It feels like it cleanses well, and there's no tightness after washing! Maybe that's to be expected... As expected from The Lab by Blanc Doux, it has a gentle feel that's simply the best. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin. Since it's mildly acidic, you don't get that squeaky clean feeling. The Lab brand is famous for hyaluronic acid, and the cleanser does have moisturizing foam Also, It doesn't have that slippery, not-quite-clean feeling typical of low pH cleansers.. In fact, I used to irritate my skin by rinsing too hard because of that.. So I avoided using them due to the unpleasant feel.. After washing, it leaves skin feeling refreshed and moisturized without causing redness or irritation, making me realize for the first time that it's good to have a low pH cleanser for bare-faced days! It cleanses gently without irritation, and the hydration is excellent It doesn't leave skin feeling dry and tight like alkaline cleansers It cleanses while keeping skin moisturized..? As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I hardly feel any tightness after cleansing. It lathers well, and the fragrance-free formula doesn't cause any discomfort. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated. For those with very oily skin or heavy makeup, this cleanser alone might not be quite enough for a thorough cleanse. - ga*******Normal SkinOct 15, 2024
The foam is just right, and it cleanses with a smooth glide rather than a squeaky-clean feel. After washing, it doesn't leave your skin feeling overly tight, though there is some dryness. It's an average product, I'd say. My skin didn't particularly improve or worsen. What I do like is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after cleansing. The tube is on the smaller side, so it seems like you get less product comparatively. Using a separate foam net really helps to create a better lather, which is great.

It creates such gentle foam that doesn't irritate your face at all! There's no irritation to the skin and it leaves a soft finish - I think this is the first time I've used a cleansing foam that feels like this. The foam is so incredibly soft, it's hard to describe, but it's like a soft marshmallow melting in your mouth, the foam just gently envelops your face. Highly recommended! As mentioned, since the formula produces a lot of foam and is non-irritating, those with oily skin or those looking for a squeaky-clean finish might find this formula a bit disappointing. It's incredibly gentle! Recommended for those who feel dryness after cleansing or have sensitive skin. Not recommended for oily skin types.
