I always use Hwahae products thoroughly and try to write reviews, but it often takes me a while, sorry about that! The texture is truly like whipped cream - so soft and spreads easily! When applied, it feels like it smooths out your skin texture and creates a thick protective layer on your skin. Perhaps that's why it moisturizes so well and the hydration lasts for a long time! Usually, products like this only fill in the oil and let the moisture evaporate, but this one seems to lock in the hydration while also controlling oil production. Well, I experienced a lot of blemishes after using this product. They mainly appeared in my T-zone, so I tried applying it only to my cheeks and forehead. I noticed that in areas with less oil, the hydration was amazing! So, I think it might be difficult for those with oily skin to use, but if you have dry or combination skin like me, it's probably best to apply it only to the dry areas. I'm now applying it only to my cheeks and forehead, avoiding areas with more oil. As you can see in the hand swatch photo, it gives a nice glow when applied. It feels incredibly smooth on the skin! * Hydration: I applied a thin layer as the final step in my skincare routine. At first, it felt a bit heavy, but that sensation quickly disappeared. It seemed to lock in all the previous skincare steps. I have combination dehydrated skin, and I didn't feel any dryness at all when I woke up! * Brightening/Anti-wrinkle: I understand this product has brightening and anti-wrinkle effects. Sleeping masks felt too heavy, and moisturizers seemed to dry out quickly. That's when I got the exciting news of being selected for The Hwahae Testers! With an All Green Grade, it's made with ingredients that are safe for the body and free from harmful substances. I could really feel how gentle the formula was on my skin :) It contains marine peptides, marine placenta, and Coenzyme Q10, which are said to help with skin elasticity. However, after a week of use, I haven't noticed those effects yet. Texture: A soft, creamy consistency that's easy to scoop out Application: It absorbs smoothly and effortlessly without any stickiness, leaving a creamy feel Scent: While I can't pinpoint the exact fragrance, it has a slight shea butter-like scent, perhaps due to its ivory color Experience: I was torn between a sleeping mask, hydrating cream, and nourishing cream. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes either. Whitening and Anti-Wrinkle Cosmetic: Above all, I was thrilled that it's a whitening and anti-wrinkle product, especially since I've been concerned about acne scars lately. I'll need to use it more to be sure, but since I just had an extraction and treatment at the dermatologist yesterday, I'm eager to observe the effects! While most whitening or vitamin creams have a yellowish tint, I initially thought this cream would be white. However, it's actually yellow, which gives it more of a vitamin or brightening cream feel. That's just my personal opinion though. Application: When I've used vegan cosmetic creams before, especially those in tubs like this, some would pill up - you know, where the cream rolls off like dead skin cells? If you've experienced it, you know what I mean. I really dislike that, but this cream doesn't pill at all! Even when I accidentally applied too much at first, I spread it out over several areas to use it all up, and it still didn't pill. That's really good! Price: I got to use this as part of The Hwahae Testers, but at over 80,000 won, it's a bit too pricey for me to buy. That's why I deducted one star. It would be even more burdensome for students. These days, there are many products with good ingredients at lower prices. I'll keep using it and might consider purchasing if the effects are really outstanding! As it's a hydrating moisturizer, I applied it in this order: toner - serum - this moisturizer - (and if needed, a richer cream).

Although it was a relatively unfamiliar brand, I was excited to try it because it had an 'All Green' rating for its ingredients. The texture is a cream with a yellowish tint, and it's fragrance-free. This is a big plus for me since my child has an allergic reaction to fragrances, so I intentionally look for products without added scents. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it applies. What's more, this product seems to work best when applied generously, like a sleeping mask. My skin type fluctuates between combination and dry, and during seasonal changes, I often struggle with dead skin cells and small bumps that really bother me. When I used this product as a thick sleeping mask, I woke up the next day feeling like my skin was calmer and my complexion more even. My skin also looked clearer and brighter. I think it would work well mixed with a face oil for extra hydration during the cold winter months when skin tends to be drier. The main drawback I can think of is the price. If they could lower it a bit, I think it would be more accessible to a wider range of consumers.
