The shampoo fragrance lingers in the bathroom long after washing. It's great for bathroom ambiance. The packaging has an emotional appeal.
ConsIt's meant for oily scalps, but without pre-washing, the lather only forms for about 10 seconds and disappears after 30. How can it be for oily scalps if it can't even cleanse excess oil? When people complained about the lack of lather on Anilo's official Instagram, they just replied to pre-wash? I tried it because Instagram influencers raved about it, but now I understand why they always pre-wash in Anilo shampoo videos. Without pre-washing, it simply doesn't lather. After first use, I thought my scalp was unusually oily that day. After the second and third use, I realized this shampoo just can't handle oil in one wash. I wash my hair once a day, and this is the first time I've experienced a non-lathering shampoo. I've used surfactant-free shampoos for years, but never seen one that doesn't lather at all. While it keeps hair healthy, pre-washing and then using this makes hair extremely stiff. Why on earth is it so expensive? Oh, and after pre-washing, lathering Anilo, and leaving it for the recommended 3 minutes, I felt like I had even more blemishes. I can only laugh at this point. It's terrible value for money. They market it as a vegan shampoo, but I've just learned it contains harmful ingredients. I should have researched more before buying. Their official Instagram only keeps positive comments. When people complain about no lather, they suggest pre-washing and then delete the comments.
TipNot recommended for those with oily scalps. It lathers well if you pre-wash. To those who highly praised this product, want to buy mine? I have an unused one. I'll cover shipping and sell it at the price I bought it for, which is cheaper than retail.

Cooling effect: Top-notch! Lather: Fantastic! The scent is incredibly refreshing and invigorating! It's perfect for summer use. If it weren't for the price, I'd use it every single day. It's truly exceptional... The fragrance lasts so long that even after washing at night, it lingers until noon the next day. Simply outstanding! The cooling effect is phenomenal! After washing, you feel so refreshed. I'll never forget that initial feeling of bliss when I first used it. The lather is incredibly soft and abundant. Even with my long, thick hair, I don't need to pump out a lot of product, which is a huge plus.
ConsThe price... sigh. I suppose there's a reason for the cost given how amazing it is. However, it's so good that it's worth cutting back on other expenses to invest in this shampoo...
