The woody scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering at all! Even though it's a large size, the price is still quite steep. However, it does make for an elegant housewarming gift.

Before discovering this product, I used to use Method hand wash! Then one day, I received Aesop hand wash and hand cream as a gift. Since then, I've been using only Aesop for over 3 years! Honestly, it doesn't cleanse exceptionally better than other products, but it looks great as a decorative item by the sink, and above all, the fragrance is amazing. As a result, every time I wash my hands with Aesop hand wash, I feel like my life has been upgraded a notch. I'll continue to use only Aesop for hand wash! Oh, and it makes for a wonderful housewarming gift too! The downside would be the price! Also, while it doesn't happen with the hand emulsion, when I pump the hand wash, a bit of product tends to come out around the pump. I'm not sure if it's just my bottle that's faulty... I loved the refreshing and invigorating citrus-woody scent. It was so crisp and aromatic. The gentle lather it created allowed me to cleanse my hands comfortably without any irritation. After washing, my hands felt clean and not at all dry, which was great. I couldn't find any drawbacks while using this hand cleanser.

While the fragrance might be polarizing for some, I absolutely adore it. The generous size ensures long-lasting use, which is fantastic. The packaging design is so stylish that it actually enhances bathroom decor - I'm completely smitten! The price might be the only downside, haha! It would be great if it were a bit more affordable or if they offered a variety of sizes. The lack of refill options is also a bit disappointing. Once you've used it up, try filling it with water to get every last bit out!
