I bought this to try overlining my lips without it looking unnatural, and it's amazing! It neutralizes my natural lip color while allowing me to layer other shades on top. Absolutely love it! Depending on the condition of my lips, it doesn't always work well. I guess that's unavoidable with matte formulas. For best results, apply it over your lip line as if you're covering it, wait a moment, and then blend. I highly recommend this for those with light undertones! It has a grayish-purple hue and works great as a base lip color. The color is absolutely gorgeous on autumn muted skin tones. It's the only tint I've ever used up completely! Unfortunately, I found out it contains ingredients that aren't good for those with cheilitis. While the color is beautiful, I won't be repurchasing. This is exactly the low-saturation mauve nude lip I've been searching for! As the name suggests, it's a completely matte product! It applies smoothly and evenly! There was no emphasis on dead skin cells, and I was satisfied with how beautiful the color is. I have a light undertone and can wear cool tones well, and this lip color looked gorgeous even when applied in a gradient style on its own! The vibe is absolutely stunning... The photo appears slightly darker than in real life due to shadows, so please keep that in mind when viewing! There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to pick something, the staying power is on the weaker side. The moment you eat something after applying, about half of it comes off... I highly recommend this product for cool-toned muted skin types! I generally use cool-toned makeup, but lately I've been obsessed with muted shades and only using those. I always used 'Cool Pink On Top' for my lips, but I tried 'Hinguri Mauve' and it's just so adorable... It's exactly the look I wanted. Comparing it to 'Cool Pink On Top', 'Hinguri Mauve' is a bit darker and seems like it would suit light undertones better. 'Cool Pink On Top' definitely has more of a white base to it. Both are cool-toned, so they might not work as well for warm-toned individuals. It might go without saying, but... your lips do get dry as time passes. However, it's so pretty that I'm willing to put up with this minor inconvenience. 'Hinguri Mauve' looks beautiful when paired with Espoir's 'Haze'. It feels like it neutralizes the cool tone of 'Hinguri Mauve' and would be perfect for autumn. If you add a bit of glitter to your cupid's bow, it mysteriously gives off a 'dewy makeup' vibe and looks gorgeous. I recommend trying it this way!

This is the epitome of purple lips! It's an incredibly vibrant purple shade. I love using it as a base. Cool-toned folks will absolutely adore this! First off, it really accentuates dead skin cells... And the color is somewhat reminiscent of red bean porridge? This is absolutely, incredibly gorgeous! It's like a beacon of light for my pale skin. The powdery texture is amazing - it completely smooths out any dead skin cells. The color payoff is insane, and honestly, everything about it is perfect. This is my holy grail tint. The staying power is pretty good too. The shade is a cool muted mauve with a hint of purple, perfect for lips. I wear this every single day. Please, I beg you, don't discontinue this! If I saw it suddenly out of stock one morning, I'd be devastated! Those with a deep undertone or leaning towards warm olive might find this challenging to use. <Assuming I have a light undertone> - Despite usually disliking blurry lips due to dead skin cells, this barely causes any - As someone with a presumed light undertone, I often find lip products too white or saturated. I was looking for a mauve with strong grayish tones, but surprisingly, this isn't overly gray and actually makes my complexion look cleaner. While applying it all over might not brighten my look, I can combine it with my usually too-saturated lip products for a versatile result (my sister with a deep undertone looks sickly wearing it) - Reasonably priced - The packaging is cute in its simplicity - The case seems sturdy and unlikely to leak - Could potentially be used as a blush - Recommended more as a base lip color than for solo use - The color payoff isn't very strong, so it doesn't seem to last very long - Since I'm not 100% satisfied with the color itself, I'm unsure about repurchasing I'll keep searching for my perfect mauve lip product The actual color is clearer and pinker than in the photos
