I've been using this for about a year now. The coverage is great, and it adheres to the skin beautifully. I'd especially recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin. It's quite rich and causes significant darkening. There might be some ingredients that don't agree with my skin, as I've noticed small blemishes appearing. I apply it using a puff sprayed with facial mist. This method really helps it adhere well to the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2025
As my first-ever cushion foundation, I loved how easy it was to apply even without any special skills! The matte finish doesn't last very long. It feels like the oil starts to come through pretty quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 14, 2025
The coverage and finish are so good, it goes without saying. The shades are well-matched to different complexions, so it worked great when my skin tone changed during summer. The biggest drawback is probably how it settles into nose creases and breaks down over time. My T-zone is oily, so as oil builds up, the makeup around my nose area looks a bit messy and deteriorates. The cheek area holds up better though. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I layer on plenty of hydration in my skincare routine first. For my nose, I can't do much, but lightly pressing some powder helps it last quite a while. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 28, 2024
The coverage is decent, it absorbs well, and there's hardly any darkening of the skin. It produces more oil than expected, even for those who don't have extremely oily skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 27, 2024
The coverage is absolutely amazing, and the amount you get is incredibly generous! It's not particularly hydrating, and I found it to be a bit on the oily side... bummer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 24, 2024
Perfect for summer! Apply it to oily areas and set with powder, and it lasts way longer than other cushions. If you have very oily skin, it can make your T-zone super shiny. Also, it's a bit tricky to get the product out of the cushion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 24, 2024
It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling moisturized. The puff applies the product evenly and smoothly. It comes off easily with oil and doesn't provide perfect coverage. I'm not sure about its brightening effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2024
I got bored with my usual cushion (just a change of heart, haha) and wanted to try something new. So I bought this on a whim after getting a recommendation from an Olive Young staff member. Here's my honest review as someone with combination dehydrated skin. Well... Despite its popularity, good word-of-mouth, and being a top seller at Olive Young at the time, I couldn't really find anything particularly great about it compared to its reputation. Disappointing. If I had to find something positive... let's see... It applies well? It goes on smoothly and feels moisturizing during application. And I didn't experience any blemishes after using it. That's about it...? As someone who doesn't put extraordinary effort into skincare, within a few hours after applying makeup, I experienced everything from creasing around the nose, eyes, and smile lines, to emphasized dead skin cells, oily skin, and makeup separation (where the makeup looks patchy). This is one of the worst cushions I've ever tried. Be warned: the staying power is extremely short. The shade is also quite light, so even for me who usually uses shade 21 without issues, it made me look ghostly pale. While experiences may vary, personally, I found it very disappointing. Unless you're blessed with naturally flawless skin, you'll need to put a lot of effort into your skincare routine before using this. If you're looking for a natural complexion, make sure to test the color on your face before purchasing! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 17, 2024
It neutralizes yellow undertones and gives a soft, plump look. Even with a thin layer, it noticeably changes your complexion and makes your skin appear flawless. It transfers easily and leaves marks. Perhaps because I have extremely oily skin, without powder, my face becomes shiny within 2 hours of application. If you don't set it properly, it tends to break down quickly. I finally figured out how to apply it properly when I was almost done with the whole tube! Use the tip of the puff to pick up a tiny amount - so little you'd think it's not enough - and dab it evenly all over your face. Then use the flat side of the puff to blend it out thoroughly. If you apply too much, it will break down, but you really only need a small amount. Just use concealer for larger blemishes. If you set it with a fixing spray and powder, it truly won't budge and stays flawless until night. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2024
Even though I have oily skin, it breaks down beautifully instead of just melting off. However, oil does surface, so I need to touch up with powder frequently... In summer, it's too much even for oily skin - the oil just comes gushing out excessively Layering on powder like there's no tomorrow...
