Pros
I purchased this product from a brand I've never heard of before, but the reviews were so positive that I decided to give it a try. During the winter, my skin felt too dry to use it, but now that the weather has improved, I'm really enjoying it. It feels like tiny grains are melting into my skin... As a typical combination skin type, my T-zone feels oily while the rest of my skin is dry. Even though I'm not completely devoid of oil, moisturizing products that are too rich tend to make my skin feel overly oily. So I prefer to layer on products with high water content to keep my skin well-hydrated. Lately, the weather has been getting colder, and the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors has been causing my skin to become more sensitive and flushed. That's when I discovered the Cica Relief Calming Ampoule - I was already well aware of the soothing benefits of cica, and true to its name, it provided relief and calming for my skin. It absorbed quickly into my skin, and after a couple of applications, my skin felt deeply hydrated without any heaviness or irritation. After using it for a few days, I noticed my redness had significantly subsided and my complexion looked brighter. I also had some hormonal breakouts recently, but this ampoule prevented new blemishes from surfacing and quickly calmed down the existing ones. When I applied it daily, I think my acne was less severe. -Moisturizing Even when I layered this product several times, my skin didn't feel dry. It's moderately moisturizing and dewy. (But if you want a bouncy, supple complexion when you go to bed, you may want to add another product.) -Good ingredients, eco-friendly packaging It doesn't contain fragrances or other harmful ingredients. First of all, as mentioned in the product description, it is absorbed into the skin very quickly. It feels like a smooth barrier is created. I just replaced the ampoule in my usual basic skincare routine with this one, and the difference I felt was that my skin texture improved....! I didn't really feel any effects on my blemish marks 🤣 The scent at first is just a typical cica scent, and then a grassy fragrance comes through later. I received the product and opened it, and there was a sticker included! I felt happy while unboxing it because the sticker was so cute :D The ampoule is a bit thick in texture... It feels like a high-concentration formula. I have dry skin, so after cleansing, I apply multiple skincare products, but whenever I use a lot of products, my skin would get oily and itchy a few hours later, and I'd have to struggle to find the right products. But this product absorbs quickly even when I apply it generously, and it controls the dryness without making my skin feel oily or stuffy, so I could use it with confidence. I rarely see significant effects from the products I use, but the Cica Relief Calming Ampoule showed visible soothing effects even after just 2 weeks of use! The reddened areas on my skin calmed down quickly after applying the ampoule, and they looked clear the next day. Personally, I also felt like my pores looked a bit tighter. It's said to be effective for improving skin discoloration, and my skin does look brighter, but I'll need to use it for a longer period to see the full effects.
