My skin has cool undertones and tends to be reddish overall. I usually use shade 21 for cushions and foundations, and I've tried shade 12 in the Marubi cream. The Marubi concealer is a creamy type that applies moistly. When I first opened it, I was a bit surprised as it didn't look like a typical concealer. Fortunately, it turned out to be a perfect concealer in use! Honestly, I've often found that even after using concealers, they can make it obvious that I've applied makeup (either looking too white or making the covered area appear darker). I've bought many concealers that I ended up not using for this reason. However, the Marubi one applies smoothly as a cream type. For my cool-toned skin in shade 21, the Marubi shade 12 is neither too light nor too dark. It's just right for covering blemishes and dark spots without being noticeable, while still providing excellent coverage. Even when applied over my base makeup, it blends seamlessly and covers blemishes and dark spots incredibly well. I found that using a brush or puff for application provides much better adherence than using fingers. The moisturizing formula also prevents it from cracking over time, which is great!
ConsWhen applied with fingers, it can look a bit dry, so it's necessary to use a puff or brush for better adherence and longevity, and to achieve a less dry appearance. The only slight inconvenience is the need to use a puff or brush for application.
TipFor those who struggle to cover redness or blemishes, shade 12 is absolutely perfect! No need for any other shades. Using a brush gives the best application results. Instead of applying a large amount at once, it's better to build up coverage in layers. Apply in the direction of your skin texture to ensure it blends seamlessly with your base makeup.
